Hmm, yeah Ambrose could help Roman if HHH tries to cheat. Then when Roman wins Ambrose hits him with Dirty Deeds in the middle of the ring. Grabs the belt and hoists it up...crowd goes wild!
Not sure how you can say the Title is more of a storyline than control over the entire company vs taker retirement... Which is what the match is being billed as. Taker match will close the show with a huge swerve I'm guessing. Possibly Vince screwing taker only to set up the real retirement match next year.
I didn't say that but going forward the title match is more of a story unless Shane wins. Taker winning has no story going forward. Shane is out and Taker has a job
The end of the taker match wont just be taker winning and walking off... There will be a story to it, whether its Shane earning his respect or taker turning on Vince or Vince turning on taker. Something is going to happen to turn the script upside down.
Just had a realisation. Raw is about to start - and I'll be AT the next one. Obviously Mania in 6 days time. I'm only flying out from Aus on Saturday. Now is the time to get excited! Lifelong dreams my friends...
As excited as I am for Mania, I am basically just as pumped for Raw the next night as expect to see Bullet Club, and maybe some other NXT stars rolled out. My feeling is that guys need to be exposed STRAIGHT to the main roster - rather than coming up through NXT where their gimmicks fall flat (Adam Rose, Ascension, Breeze, Neville, Bo Dallas) For that reason, I hope they bump Nakamura up straight away rather than having him hang around NXT doing the whole title chase, win the NXT title finally, predictably drop it and try to win it back before going up to the main roster (as seen done by Zayn, Dallas, Neville, and currently in the works for Balor) To the above point - I'd like to actually see them try and integrate the NXT and main roster with actually breaking the mould and having the NXT champ show up on Raw or SD declaring that he is taking over ..maybe folloed by some sort of invasion angle.
I'm guessing some people on this forum think Reigns wasn't boo'd out of the building right there either.
Don't watch RAW until late after work, could really care less if he gets boo'd or cheered. Dude knows how to put on a main event he did it last year at WM and I'm sure he'll do it again this year. That said, it's not going to touch HIAC or an Ambrose/Lesnar street fight. Best week of the year!
NJPW wouldn't sell WWE the rights too Bullet Club. Zayn is done in NXT after Takeover. I think Enzo & Cas or The Revival gets called up just for someone fresh for New Day too fued with. HHH said he wants too keep Balor as the face of the NXT as they transition NXT into a full-time touring event in 5-10k seat venues. I think Nakamura has a run as NXT champ. Can see Joe or Crews being brought up soon.
I pine for the days that you would get a nice mysterious video package hyping a guy, and then the guy would land as a surprise and it would be great entertainment. Even if the guy was Adam Bomb, or Ludvig Borga. The mystique was there. Now it's all over the internet when a guy signs on, and he sits in limbo for awhile and we almost lose interest by the time he debuts. When he does it's just the same guy that was in NXT. No mystique, no surprise. I, for one, thought it was fantastic when they pulled a swerve and debuted the FunkOsauras.
As HHH coined it, it's the reality era. People want instant gratification instead of a build, that just isn't as effective in pro wrestling
Kind of sad when the top face by the WWE's eyes is getting booed out of every building he is in. It is going to be BRUTAL on Sunday and I can't wait to be in the crowd booing him. Looking forward to seeing Shane/Taker, AJ, KO Ladder match, Divas Triple Threat, the New Day and Ambrose/Lesnar.
Just finished watching the WWE24 special on Daniel Bryan. Highly recommend it to anyone, a fantastic watch.
I agree Seth is bound to be champ again. But wouldn't AJ get enough rub to push into the post-mania title picture after most likely winning this (dang it's THIS) sunday?
