Soooooooo many minutes with Harden on the bench and Ty on the court with ball in hand sharting in his shorts.

    LOL

Any real point guards will never succeed with scrub coach like JBB.

When Harden is resting on bench, Lawson still looks like a headless chicken.

He bricks and looks confused out there.

Still remember Lawson laughed at Harden defense on his Twitter.

And Lawson defense in Rockets is NBA worst...

Damn I hope we miss the playoffs so we wouldn't have wasted a 1st rd pick on this guy.

The ball was in his hands plenty with the second group and did nothing with the ball. what is he talking about? Harden would even point to this idiot so his teammates would give him the ball and then he would just pass back to Harden.

Ty Lawson scored 6 points and you guys are listening to him about not being played the right way? Really? He's clearly making excuses for himself and his 6 point game proves it. It's not like he went off.. relax.

LOL, this roster has been an epic failure.

The biggest need last season was a second playmaker to run the team when Harden was off the court. Same situation, same opportunities, but he was just as bad when Harden was on the bench.

Lawson shouldn't be the one to talk. How about instead of partying and getting drunk you should have focused more on trying your best on a contract year?

Insert Harden into 90er Bulls instead of the GOAT

He won't win a thing with Pippen, Kerr, Grant or Rodman, Longley, Wellington, BJ Armstrong

He's right, we could have used him better but he still hasn't looked like the player he was 2 seasons ago.

Lawson should have been playing the Harden role off the bench for 15 minutes, just like Beasley. Some minutes without Dwight. Do some practice on setting picks for him, putting a spacer on the perimeter for him to kick out to.

Could have worked but reality is different. This team runs an unstructured offense (and that's a good thing) but the players we have are not good at making decisions in the freedom they have (that's a bad thing). So the last thing you want to do is bring in a guy like Ty who needs the guys around him to be smarter, who needs time to be dedicated to making life easier for a bench player. We should be busy getting smarter role players, rather than spending time making Lawson comfy.

Letting Ty go was the right thing. He's going to have a killer next season, book it. With a different coach, I can see he could have worked out here but we're not going to hire a coach based on how Ty Lawson works out.

I wish him well. I didn't sense animosity from his comments, just friendly competitiveness.

These Rockets as a team are laughably worse than the sum of their parts. What more do you need to know in order to clean house with this coaching staff?

Good for him. At least he still cares about basketball. I was questioning that in Houston.

Before the season started he was saying he didn't mind playing off the ball.

Oh well. That's just the Rockets this year. Only thing left to do is limp to the end and take our ass kicking in four games by the Warriors or Spurs.

Not defending Lawson for what he said or how he played (either for us, or for IND) but if our backup PG would have matched Lawson's performance we would have won last night.

We have to address the PG position over the off season. And the C position. As well as the PF position. And the SF position. And the SG position. And the Coach position.

He didn't really say anything bad about the Rockets. He said it was a bad fit.

This is what I wonder about Morey. Does he know anything about basketball chemistry? Does Morey know how to build a team so that the pieces fit?

However, I will say this. Lawson played poorly even when Harden was on the bench. Lawson was just bad.
