Your right about the homerism but quit being so republican about Beasley. He has always been one of the most gifted scores the world has ever seen. Guy was just a complete head case. Beasley gives you a look forward to a complimentary player to Hardens game with an all-sta with, if not already, potential. I guy that can score just as well as Harden can and get his own shot. We can have 3 30 ppg guys, but if we have ZERO defense, we will still lose. Score 150, give up 151, you still lose. To be successful, a team needs discipline and coaching, not rotating all stars.
More stars = less work for harden = better D from harden = better D from everyone. Doesn't take a genius to see that hardens offensive load and defensive effort are inversely correlated.
