I agree with a lot of what you say. My dad was a police officer for 30+ years and my family has multiple within who have done tours in Iraq etc. There are things that Hilary/dems in general stand for that we can't get behind. Sanders is laughable. And so is Trump/Cruz. If it came down to a Trump/Clinton show down. I would actually have to think about it and then reluctantly vote Trump. I don't think he builds a wall, I don't think he changes the trade deal, I think he might just piss a bunch of people off. Tax me less please.
You shouldn't put words in people's mouths. Beyond being dishonest, it makes you a douchebag. Being against the Iraq war wasn't about isolationism. It was about common sense. Trump would disengage the world from diplomacy and isolate America on an international stage to our detriment - politically, militarily, and economically.
You asked about the "beans," (?)texxx. You asked me to "share the beans." Those "beans" are on a plate at the bottom of page 167. I am awaiting a reply from you. I expect from you a dismissive, flippant reply with no substance whatsoever, because that is what you do here. You troll and then when someone takes the time to provide a reply longer than your own soundbites, you toss out a "joke" and run away to troll the next member who tickles your fancy. I'm hoping for a substantive reply. It would be an extremely rare occurrence. Rare indeed. Good luck. I know you can crank out a detailed response. After all, you say that you are a graduate of that fine university, Rice. Why not put that alleged education on display? Thanks in advance.
ive not heard trump say he wants better relations with putin. but i have heard him praise him for his strong-man/authoritarian leadership qualities. and what i quoted from trump regarding kim jon un absolutely is praise, again for his strong-man authoritarian leadership qualities. he seems to admire him very much. he repeatedly called what he did "incredible" and "amazing". what he did btw, was murder his uncle and anyone else in high position who might stand up to him. that is who donald trump admires. and answer my question...name one president in the last 50 years who has not met with the leader of an oppressive regime.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smoot–Hawley_Tariff_Act Here's where I argue that you don't understand supply and demand, eternal forces that don't move in different dimensions, elasticities, and directions, because you didn't take a year-long course on the history, effect, and implications of the Great Depression. want even more recent? the correlation stretches to the 80s--nevermind the recent currency/trade spates that may or may not qualify as war. http://themonkeycage.org/2013/01/protectionism-during-recessions-is-this-time-different/ like i said mang: Go Trump go! He's the beginning of the end of the flawed 20th century version of capitalism. He's a meal ticket to the basic income, and open borders, both of which are inevitable and needed.
Uninformed, misinformed. doesn't matter. Hilary is running on a platform of being a Woman. "we had a black president, isn't time to elect a female?" If you vote for lying, untrustworthy, hypocrite and someone who is backed by wallstreet just because she's a woman then that is dangerous. Hilary can potentially be disastrous for America Said it before and I'm going to say it again. So far only one group of people is going to another man's rally and causing disruption. George Soro who is backing backing Hilary is financing violent protests to disrupt Trump rally and have the media blame trump. WAKE UP SHEEP! This Today's American democracy. WAKE THE **** UP! How many times has Hilary insulted Republicans on twitter? How many times has Hilary flipped flopped on issues. How many times has Hilary changed her position just to pander to whatever group she's trying steal votes from. Let me refresh your memory. Watch this video of your hero lying for 13 minutes. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-dY77j6uBHI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Here it is Trump: I want to get along with Russia and I never said I have a problem with Obama going to Cuba, I just want to state that if you have no problem with Obama wanting a better relations with Cuba then you shouldn't have a problem with Trump doing the same with Russia.
Oh I understand, but it's hypocritical of you to point out those things when you support someone who is even worse in those regards. There's a reason why Trump was such a big Hillary supporter in the past, he sees so much of himself in her. Lying? Check Untrustworthy? Check Habitual flip flopper? Check Hypocrite? Check
I have a question to ask those Trump supporters who support him not because of his jingoist rhetoric but instead because he 'can't be bought'. If you believe that the problem with today's political process is campaign financing and money in politics, then I hope you would know that the most affected branch of government from campaign financing is the legislative branch and more specifically the House of Representatives. The REAL problem with campaign financing happens at the CONGRESSIONAL district level. Majority of congressional elections, the winner is often the name that people heard of. Our democracy is being bought at the congressional district level, not the presidential level. The only way to solve this is through an amendment or the Supreme Court. Has Trump ever suggested that he is willing to nominate a justice that was against Citizen's United? I just don't understand. If your soul reason to support Trump is that you think Trump cannot be bought, than why not support someone like Sanders who is actually willing to tackle the root source of the problem?
The executive branch of the government is responsible for executing the laws and provisions granted by the legislative branch of the government. You do know that, right? So there are perhaps some Trump and Cruz supporters who feel that these two will execute the laws and provisions already provided by the legislative branch. The option is there for the president to impose tariffs (which yes, even Obama has done - how stupid of him, right Northside?). The option is there for the president to enforce the laws with regards to immigration. EDIT: Please explain to us, what is the "root source of the problem"?
Yeah....so instead of someone that might be influenced by greedy billionaires, you support cutting out the middle man and directly electing the greedy billionaire. Smart.
well, yes, but Trump would be stupider and more drastic about it. And the Obamainator has worked on reducing tariffs. http://www.newsweek.com/us-and-china-eliminate-1-trillion-worth-tariffs-tech-products-283755 I guess Trump is smarter--depending on if your end goal is the ultimate collapse of 20th century capitalism. I guess you seem to be walking away from your position on tariffs not causing trade wars lol. I personally embrace telling China to go f**k itself, but I'm not the type of person who really gives a s**t what's going on at Wal-Mart. From every sales figure, that category seems to encompass a whole lot of Americans who will suffer when they realize that holy s**t, they took our jobs, but they also provide us with the cheapest goods known to man. Thanks quasi-indentured, near-slave labor! Nativists who don't accept facts and make dubious leaps in logic. --I thought fchowd0311 was pretty clear about it being the legislative wing whoring itself out for cash, so doubling down on saying the executive wing will work with said wing isn't a great look on the situation.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ps-trade-war-could-kill-millions-of-u-s-jobs/ that's a whole lot of jerbs.
This logic....I can't comprehend how people not only believe it but repeat it as some sort of mythical fact. Like saying politicians aren't swayed by other politicians because they themselves are politicians.
