No he's not, think about the horrid turnovers he makes. His turnovers that ended the Rockets season with a historical 13 for the playoffs was not an anomaly. It's just that he is completely gutless and broken when it really counts. His bad defense and turnovers makes his scoring more like single digits. It's that bad if you do the math and the eye test.

nah... i figured the root problem is,,, we have too many left-handed players.

and when was the last time a team won a title w/ a lefty being the #1 guy?

I know. Math tells me Harden has the highest on/off court margin, BPM, RPM, Win Shares, and we play absolutely crap when he sits on the bench, but yeah we would totally be contenders if only we had Lin instead of Harden.

Exactly fluke season. We had only the 5th best SRS in the West that year. Spurs don't choke against the Pelicans and it would've been another 1st round exit.

Either way, Harden will fail again in the PlayOffs. I think Harden and Howard need to go. **** both of them. Trade Harden for Parker or Wiggins and start over.

I think that the Lil B curse is possibly real, gets at the phonies who steal from the underground at the time.

There was some element of fluke in last year's success, for sure. And Ariza played solid defense, unlike this year. Dwight was a non factor as usual.

Hoping for a merciful end to this pitiful season. What a disaster...Thank God I didnt watch this game...I mightve thrown my remote at my TV...

Howard, dont know how he played, but Im just tired of a 22 mil guy complaining about any thing. I cant wait to clear the stentch of an overpriced/over the hill egomaniac...who believes that he can still dominate offensively in a game. I really hope, Les clears house completely...including Morey. Im sick that this is what young Rockets fans have to watch...This was never the case with our great Rockets team. We had real post play...we had scrubs play elite level defense...We had head coaches that held people accountable from the stars to the bench players. I am really glad that I was able to grow up and watch Hakeem and the Rockets during their title years...

This was Howard's "last" chance...his last real stop to make a difference in his career.. Instead he will forever be known as a mental midget...that picks and choses which games he wants to dominate...and which ones he wants to be a dumba$$ in...

With James Harden, this offseason and coaching hire may forever define his career. IMHO..Think Harden should sit out the team USA deal...forget it...reinvent his game...

Talking about Harden is what distracts us from all the bad on this team. You guys are so focused and obsessed with hating a proven player because you want him to be Jordan, that you don't realize that if he had better teammates we would be winning regardless of his below average defense and turnovers. Harden is a BIG POSITIVE, you can't say that about anyone else on this team.

Chuck Hayes, Kyle Lowry, Courtney Lee --- don't care what race, just want them to care about winning and losing and play hard.

Rockets' Offensive RTG (last 10 games):

    With James Harden: 109.5
    Without James Harden: 83.5

Houston Rockets' defensive rating (last 10 games):

    With James Harden: 100, 0
    Without James Harden: 114. 8

    It's all Harden's fault. Didn't you know?

It was clearly a dumb post I wouldn't even respond to that, just call it dumb. It's for obvious reasons no need to explain, you're sane he's not.

Such a good point. Focusing way too much Harden is actually distracting us from the real issues of this team.

Naw,,, I'd rather have a Wiggins and start over at this point. Harden only knows how to tease but fails way too much when the stakes get too much. He's failed 3 post seasons in a row as a Rocket in critical games. It's over....
