I don't remember the exact scenario, but they did have another pair, however, it is not a valid test to have him try those on. The defense knew the real gloves would be a tight fit. They would have been smart to object to having him try on a different pair of gloves as that would not prove anything - even if they are the exact same style and size. The only gloves that matter if they fit or not are the ones they found.
Also in that fact check link I posted, it was stated that Judge Ito made the decision to have him try on the actual gloves. Marcia Clark was against having O.J. try on the gloves in front of the jury, even though Darden was for it. False. The prosecution had always planned to have Simpson try on the gloves—but a duplicate pair of the exact ones found at the scene (extra-large Isotoners) that they ordered from the manufacturer, not the bloodied glove from evidence and not with a latex glove underneath. And it was Judge Ito who made the crucial call to have Simpson try on, with latex gloves underneath, the actual blood-soaked (and possibly shrunken) crime-scene glove, not the duplicates the prosecution had intended.
Seems to me that every trump card that the prosecution played was bested by the defense. If this were a games of Spades, it would've been over by the third hand.
This show will end up ranking very highly for me in terms of best overall seasons of television. It's been great every single week.
was not expecting a episode centered on the jury. that was great. lol'ed when they cut from the black people celebrating Martin to OJ talking about how Kramer should get his own show. the poker scene was actually pretty brilliant writing: showing that OJ loves to gamble and is skilled in bluffing
Yeah, great episode. I can barely go anywhere without my phone, can't imagine being sequestered from society from 8 months! Hell no. Did yall prefer Martin or Seinfeld? I loved watching Martin at that time lol. I didn't get into Seinfeld until after high school.
I interpreted that scene differently. I figured they let him win. Symbolizing that he was surrounded my yes men who catered to his feelings and never held him accountable.
Nice! Didn't know there was one. May binge watch. I read the "If I did it..." book on a flight recently. Getting inside that guys mind (via a ghost writer) is kind of creepy.

another great episode tonight. Can't wait for next weeks finale. Anyone know if there's going to be another season with a different trial that's profiled? Edit: looks like season two is going to center around Hurricane Katrina
Yeah, I wonder on Katrina if they'll try to get another stacked cast. I've been pretty impressed with this show.
I had assumed it would be much like American Horror Story, since its American Crime Story, so a new story next season would be expected Lots of similar cast crossovers from each show as well
