https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...cs-apology-for-trump-speech-is-unprecedented/ AIPAC apologizes for Trump's stupidity: Choking back tears, Pinkus apologized for Monday night's speeches, implying that Donald Trump had violated a nonpartisan standard. “From the moment this conference began, until this moment, we have preached a message of unity,” Pinkus said. “We have said, in every way we can think of: Come together. But last evening, something occurred which has the potential to drive us apart, to divide us. We say, unequivocally, that we do not countenance ad hominem attacks, and we take great offense to those that are levied against the president of the United States of America from our stage.” “While we may have policy differences, we deeply respect the office of president of the United States and our president, Barack Obama,” Pinkus said
hahahahahahaha what a joke. The regressive left back in action http://reason.com/blog/2016/03/23/emory-university-president-vows-to-hunt
Oh, I don't know. Perhaps the fact that they are a sovereign nation that will, in diplomatically nice terms, tell Trump to go **** himself before they will pay for his "wall?"
I think Rojo is talking about Trump plan for US Government to place a tax on remittances from US to Mexico. Don't know how legal that would be, but seems possible. But of course, the math doesn't add up. Said 30 B in remittances. 3% of that is 900M. Wall is 15B in material costs. Add labor and you might be talking about 100B cost. Add maintenance of ~10B per year... I don't think the math adds up. And no, Mexico isn't going to pay for it.
Mexico is a country with 1/5 the per capita GDP of the US, which depends on 3% of its GDP from the US. $100 sent from the US to Mexico ends up being like $500 in Mexico. I'm sure they would, in diplomatically nice terms, shoot themselves in the foot.
Actually, the media did report on it (excerpted from article posted above): So there you go... media coverage. You happy?
That sounds like a diplomatic disaster. Stepping over the minutiae, it seems like Trump assigns zero value to having a good relationship with Mexico. Considering that they're neighbors with whom we have many robust ties, it's a brain-dead position to hold.

you don't think that illegal drugs and people entering our country from mexico across our shared border or something like operation fast and furious are diplomatic disasters? these actually happened and continue to happen. but this hyperbole/rhetoric (which hasn't happened) will be? i mean it might sure, but it wouldn't be the first disaster would you agree?
Trump claims wall will cost 8-12 billion. Remittance payments to mexico are over 20 billion. So I estimate it will take 0.0005 thousand years to pay for the wall.
Can you check again please. If he kicks out all the illegals there will not be any remittance sent by illegals to Mexico. Also to add to your silly point the Mexican government does not get that money as the illegals send that money to their families. So again can you calculate how many thousand of years it will take Trump to get paid for the wall which Americans will be paying for? Oh and the wall will not cost you 8-12 billion. That sounds like the maintenance cost only.
