The difference is that China and the USSR were so powerful, we had to bow and scrape before them, but in this case Cuba is so small and powerless that Obama can only visit out of the wealth of his benevolence? That's the argument you're going with?

Liberal pile on! Always evident of them trying to help their fallen comrades. I've touched a nerve by blowing up their position.

Trying to equate Cuba to China and Russia is silly. Huge difference.

I think most people agree, and I don't think there's much of a "hit" outside of the right-wing media outrage-machine. Most people are like "meh, I'd like to visit Cuba sometime. Looks alright."

The liberal pile on does not equate to fail. In fact, usually the opposite. To think that Russia and China are on the same scale as Cuba is truly laughable.

Texxx, when you resort to liberal pile on, you have lost the argument.

So it just depends on the size of the country that a US President is pictured in?
At what GNP does posing in front of the local nationalist leader become exceptable?

Well another domino falls. President Obama just ended the policy of granting automatic residency to Cubans that make it to US soil. This is an executive move so Trump could easily just reverse it.

I actually think this was political more than anything. Kinda hard to be tough on immigration and then give Cubans a pass (not saying that we should end the policy or that immigration policy isn't in need of reform).
