what does this tell us? can you enlighten us a little? i noticed most on the list are either pg's or pig men.
Do you think Harden, or other high turnover players, like Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan etc shouldn't handle the ball at the end of games? leebigez think's it's basic basketball knowledge that he shouldn't. What do you think?

end of games? i dont see leebigez say that. i think his point was a high t/o guy like harden shouldnt dominate the ball as much as he does, which i agree.
Well, in that case you're both wrong, the on-the-ball creator of points in the league (at least, the best not named Steph Curry) should have the ball in his hands at the end of games, that has been true long before Harden was on the Rockets and will be true long after. That's just common sense.
Yeah, but... who's else is going to create for us? Bev? Ariza? We legit don't have anyone else that can create. The way the roster is constructed requires Harden to dominate the ball.
i do not disagree. but we're not talking about end-of-the-game situations. we're talking about in general or the whole game, no?
Yea, I am curious to know what this "best option" is for close games. I can't wait to hear this to be honest.
true (the last play in last yr's playoffs vs gsw comes to mind). and that's exactly where the problem resides for our offense.
Howard allowing a backdoor layup coming out of a timeout and Harden turning the ball over leading to an easy 2 sums up our season. Our so-called franchise guys aren't getting it done when it matters most.
sometimes i wish rondo was the acquisition target going back to last summer, when his stock was very low. never felt thrilled about lawson. and it's not a complete hindsight. and rondo would never have confidence issues (in a hindsight ).
Other than the 3 with Andre Roberson in his face with 20 seconds left, lol. Harden actually has the same (114) offensive rating in clutch situations as he does in the season overall. His clutch rating is about the same level (slightly higher) than Westbrook and Durant and LeBron Curry's is a stratospheric 133, by way of comparison, against 125 overall.
Harden could knock off 2-3 TO's a game if he would just stop attempting that stupid skip/pocket pass that always either ends up being kicked or stolen. He just seems to turn over the ball at some of the most inopportune times. Doesn't matter how many points you score or assist when you create scoring runs for the other team with your turnovers or turn it over in the final seconds of a close game. Consistently. All the talent in the world... But I just don't understand the guy.
how do you define "more turnover prone"? i did a quick lookup just to make sure. this yr., harden's asst/to = 7.4/4.6 and rondo's is 11.7/4.0, with both playing similar amount of minutes.
I could be wrong, but I believe its only kickball if its intentional. I always wonder why he continues to attempt that pass.
So, you believe that turnovers are only acceptable if you have a certain multiple of assists against turnovers?
