Dwight's defense is definitely a big factor why we lost tonight. I didn't realize how much he has regressed. There were several times where he wasn't even contesting shots inside the paint
at this point i hope DH gets season ending injury so we can sit this lazy guy and put someone who wants to make a living in NBA and shows heart and hussle
It looks like he has checked out - and is going to stay in the paint for rebounds and points to keep those numbers up for his next contract. Yipee!! DD
Dwight's match-up record against elite centers have been just disastrous in the past few weeks : Dwight Howard 8/17/1blk -14 Al Horford 22/9/2blk +15 Dwight Howard 10/11/1blk +12 Karl Anthony-Towns 32/11/1blk -9 Dwight Howard 6/7/0blk -20 Deandre Jordan 23/16/2blk +12 Dwight Howard 8/12/0blk -11 Pau Gasol 28/17/2blk +6 man, even I never realized how much of a defensive liability Dwight has become. Offensively, he can't do anything against top 10 centers in this league. He has good games here and there when facing scrubs, but other than that he's pretty much useless and hurting the team more than helping.
That last dunk made by OKC where Dwight didn't even think to challenge was what lost today's game, basically
Even the very last play, it was very catchable pass. A little off target, but still catchable. Dwight had several turnovers in this game just because he couldn't hold on to the ball. One of the worst butterfingers I've ever seen in this league.
For once, you are correct. Mad he got no back to the basket post touches, so I'll kind of sort of mope a bit.
Capela should get more pt . dwight should be getting 30 a game max right now . Clint has such tremendous potential and just needs to gain some confidence and aggression to be a really solid player .
Howard is easily the most frustrating player i've watched in a while. He just does not care nearly as much as you need your max guy to. He has more useless double doubles than anyone I can think of.

Because Pat Beverley can't stick to his assignment? Beverley starts retreating with Roberson, his man, and inexplicably leaves him to gamble for a steal. There were many better plays to pick on Dwight's defense than this. Like the inbounds layup or not contesting Kanter's shots in the paint.
Dwight could've easily contested that dunk; he simply chose not to because he's that lazy, or his body is in worse condition than we think. Neither of which is a good sign.
