Did you teach him about strangers? Like ones that pretend to be your friend are bad people? Like LOFs joining Clutchfans are bad people?
BusinessWeek rankings are partially based on surveying the students. Kind of like All-Star fan voting...
I seriously doubt people want their kids to go to Harvard because Jeremy Lin went there. And I'm positive he's not the first asian american or rich asian palo altan there. In my opinion, he should have gone to Stanford, just as good academically and it's better weather.
Never said anything about what the parent wanted...but the 6yr old kid might be looking at Jeremy as a role model. Stanford is an awesome school...one of maybe only a dozen schools in the world that you could put in Harvard's class in terms of academics. But Stanford's basketball coach was not truthful/honest with Jeremy and his family, so he made the right decision to not go there.
Beware of listening to strange men, especially if they have extreme views toward one of your son's favorite nba player. He calls all of Lin's Fan insects or germs. So, he is calling your son and you these same horrible names too. I am also a father and have 3 sons of my own. My advice to all fathers is to keep your sons as far as possible away from this person who is claiming to be fighting the evils of lin fans.
I don't know about tinman, but I for one... will never try to translate anything when I'm on ClutchFans.
Lin legitimately had a great game the other night. Actually, that may have been the best game of his season, when you consider the turnovers, seven rebounds and solid shooting. When you do that against some of the best players in the league (Parker is disgustingly underrated), you're playing really well. I'm sure the Hornets feel great after taking down the Spurs, which are, in my opinion, the best team in the league. I had the chance to watch the replay and I was impressed with the intensity. He really held the Hornets down that game. The biggest disappointment was my dude Big Al. I hope he gets himself back into shape....his post game is a beauty. Back to the man of the hour: Jeremy scored a total of 6 points against the Mavs and Magic just days earlier. That's just astonishing in terms of inconsistency. If he were able to significantly limit those games where he's a complete non-factor, he could have a starting job. That's always been his issue though...showing up from one night to the next. And no, that's not a personal insult. It's just an observation of his stats.
I agree that's been the reputation he's built. But his role has not been consistent either, and I think Lin fans like myself would love to see him get a season where his role is more stable. That said, he was signed by the Hornets in large part *because* of his versatility to play different roles (backup at either guard, starter at either guard because of injuries), so I think Hornets fans are more ok with the swings in his game than what Houston fans might have expected with his contract (not even going to talk about what Byron Scott did to him in LA). His recent shooting slump appears to be the result of the coaches trying to change his shooting form during the season (they used the All-Star break to introduce a new form). Hopefully he works through it...
LOFs gonna come out like roaches. Pathetic Airemy missed 4 shots against one of the worst teams in the league. He even let opposing point guards (Sloan and Larkin) score a total of 7 points rofl. Lin = D league material LULZ
