And here I was thinking Beasley would help the board finally spell Beverley correctly. But looks like it's causing dyslexia-spelling, instead, transferring the troublesome "e" to wrong places. Beasley not Beasely Beverley not Beverly And wow, DMo will start two positions at the same time?
As Rocket fans we are due for some luck. My kind of luck is Donatas, Clint and Beez developing to their maximum potential WITH the Rockets.
So glad to see him succeed - anxious to see how he continues developing through the playoffs and after an offseason with training camp. I was attending K-State while he was there and the guy was arguably better than either KD or Blake. Brought the program back to relevance since the Mitch Richmond days. Will never forget him almost single handedly beating KU at Bramlage - couldn't be happier to see him succeed in a Rockets uniform. Now I just need to see Jacob Pullen make it in the NBA...Morey?
It was so awesome seeing his breakout game in Boston, the crowd was stunned, loved every cheering moment with fellow Rockets fans in the lower bowl. Easily one of the best road games I've been to.
Fantastic video. Beas already has more highlight-worthy plays at this point 8 games in than his entire season last year! Hoping for more, especially in a deep Rockets playoff run
Great highlight video! Thanks! What is interesting is there are a lot of DRIVES there. Not just jumpers. So, if his jumper goes cold, you know he can put the ball on the floor to score. And he makes his FTs. As long as he keeps up his serviceable defense, the Rockets just very well have a 6th man of the year type player on their hands. He just needs to continue to stay hungry! EDIT: It took a number of stops and some years for Hassan Whiteside to finally find a groove. Same with Zach Randolph. Maybe for Beas....this stop in Houston is finally "his time."
That's actually what I'm worried about. If Beas takes off, we won't have bird rights to go over the cap to resign him.
But, the cap is expected to take another big jump next summer. So, ideally, the Rockets get some BIG fish FAs this year, have the core pieces in hand, and then use the summer of 2017 to add in key role players. Which in this case could be Beasley if he continues to trend upward.
