Yet he does step up during the playoffs. The guy drives me crazy. We have a regular season as well, Dwight.

He's hands down their best playoff performer no matter what anyone says, he brings it when it counts.

Good all the way to the instances where he gives in and commits silly turnover fouls and can't calculate where to pass the ball to in critical moments losing a major playoff game. Dwight's immaturity in the PlayOffs is killer for this team.

His effort won't matter if the Rockets finish as a 7th or 8th seed.

    The regular season counts too.

Which defines how lazy he really is, he could play like that all year if he desired to.

People forget this. The only reason that this team was able to make it to the WCF last season was because they earned the two seed with their REGULAR SEASON play.

The best way to maintain playoff success year after year is to continually earn a spot in the top three seeds.

I actually don't think he could. He's doing all he can to stay healthy and his athleticism isn't what it used to be. If he steps things up in the playoffs, great. He's at the point where you just have to be happy with what he can still do.

Just tired of your ignorance in overrating and underrating players based on your agenda.

How do you know he could play that way all year long? You just throw out so many assumptions as facts about things you have no way of knowing.

Then you have to move on from him.

We had the same record last season with and without him.

Not if he plays well in the playoffs again. Playoffs are more tailored for him because there are no back to back games. Let's see how he looks before we write him off.

Well I think there's a chance they do move on from him. He's clearly on the decline but when he's motivated and healthy, he's one of the best big men in the game.....it's just increasingly rare

You can't pay him that money for a guy that is gold bricking in the regular season.

The org needs to play to win and get that chemistry right before the playoffs.

Dwight is done here, it is quite obvious if you look at it objectively.

He failed, and his lack of will to win is the primary reason. You can't put a lazy unmotivated player like Dwight with an enabling coach, you need a boot in the butt guy to hold him accountable.

    Goodbye Dwight, and Good riddance!

DD can you stop posting things that only have to do with Dwight in this thread?

It's off-topic and there are other threads for that.

Are you talking about Harden or Howard?

I think DMo has really come around the last two games. He has that quick twitch and seems to be finally caught up with game speed. Nice to see!

You mean DMo is still the X-Factor after two seasons? Is that still the topic?

Both. They can give all the effort they want come playoff time, but if the Rockets are facing GSW/Spurs, Rockets will be swept 4-0.

DD love you but you whine way to much about Howard and Morey ect. This team is a mess this season no matter who you want to blame and I do agree with some of your points but don't agree with you about Howard. Honestly with a starting lineup of Howard, DMO, Ariza, Harden and Beverly they should be running rough shot on most teams in the first quarter. The coaching is abysmal and very very frustrating to watch. They need to find some way to get DMO more touches down in the block IMO, but what do I know LOL.
