    Something is definitely not right

Both Moti and Beastley have been playing well. And Harden had good games before this period.

And the team still could not go on a long winning streak.

    Frustrating and useless season

Does anybody have any insights on how DMo's defense has looked? I am not great at the eye test on that. Seemed like he was so big on taking charges before, which can be effective. With the back, I imagine that is not much of an option now, right?

It is not up to where it was last year, his lateral quickness is a little less - probably due to not being in basketball shape...but the mentality is there, sometimes he tries too hard when he needs to sag, but there are plenty of good points too where he stands tall with his arms up and clogs the middle.

He is a PLUS defender most days, but will struggle with quicker athletic PFs...if they take him outside.

Yes that would probably be our best lineup. Anything to keep slow ass Howard outta there.

Capella/Harrell/KJ/Brewer/goudeluck can run that bench. I actually like trez as a post option. I'd rather we work on his in game action than howard now

The entire team wasn't rotating to them shooting threes. It wasn't just Howard. And when he does rotate out there Atl got easy layups.

    So pick your poison.

Nope, it was Howard alone that was missing that last rotation.

Nope. Re-watch the game or prove your statement.

We tried that in the latter half of last year, and he was not good defensively. He used to be good defensively at PF, but I'm a little worried with this injury.

I don't need to prove anything I saw it the first time, even Dominique Wilkins was calling it out.

We are 24th in allowing points in the paints and 23rd in opposing 3 point%. Pick your poison.

Just so we are clear, you can't prove anything and you are agenda driven.

Well of course we have SG that doesn't play defense and a center that stays planted - both with their own stat padding agendas.....

Keep the younger one, and jettison the declining old guy who never developed his skills.

What was the excuse last year?

I won't be sad to see Dwight go but you have a terrible issue of overrating and underrating players.

Rewatching the ATL game. At 9:55 left in the 4th, when Beasley hit the Nowitzki dead-leg fall-back jumper to go up by 5, Dominique Wilkins says,

"Oh, man. He's rockin and rolling. I mean you've got to give him a lot of credit; he's come out and been that X-Factor for the Houston Rockets."

He must be in cahoots with JBB.

Howard makes lazy rotations. He is a terrific rebounder and can block shots but as a whole his defense is overrated. I actually like DMo's defense better than Howards. I trust him more for sure.
