While I agree with the cynicism about so many players-only meetings and its up to the players to step it up (at least get their heads in the game and play hard), you can't take blame away from coaching and management: Offensive problems: How often do you see the Rocket's run an offense versus how often is it simply players going 1 on 1 against the defender? Are the players rebelling against running plays? And why isn't the coaching staff attempting to change this? Defensive problems: Look at last night's lineup. Harden had to play 44 minutes, Terry had to play 26 minutes and Beverly was completely ineffective at both sides of the court. And the Clippers guards embarrassed us (Riddick 25 pts, Paul 15pts/16 assists, Crawford 14pts, Rivers 12pts). Yet, we deactivated Goudelock so they could activate Jones (who didn't play anyway). So yes, poor play from the players, but poor roster management put the players behind the eight ball before they even stepped on the court. We switch on every defensive set, leading to ridiculous matchups like Capela trying to guard Paul and Brewer trying to guard Jordan. Howard tries to defend the guard that blows by the defender and no one picks up Howard's assignment. Yes, unintelligent play from the players, but doesn't the coaching staff see this and make changes?
That's rich coming from Dwight, he's the one guy who is clearly playing for a contract next year (not on the Rockets) and is merely statpadding.

2013 Astros had no talent and weren't expected to win. They weren't embarrassing, especially since they turned it around last year. These guys are flat out embarrassing.
Hey not coming over on those screens and PNR would cost Howard rebounds and blocks... 12 rebounds a game pays better than 10 rebounds a game, and that also takes effort..... who cares if it is a big part of the reason the Rockets are .500%.
When's the next time they play a scrub tanking team similar to the wolves? There's your answer to when the next Meeting will be. It'll be the night before, so Beverley this time can be like "the team we play tomorrow will have no idea what hit them"
A body or a back! He's as brittle as they come. I'm sick of the same ole lip service from this group, they really need to grow a pair and go play ball. Leadership will have to spawn from within since Morey refuses to hire a proven coach with a track record and a backbone to match.
