Cruz is worse than Trump. It's just that Trump's personality and media attention have shielded how much more "radical" Ted Cruz is than Trump. One key difference is that although both are in favor of E-Verify and deportation, Trump wants to allow (through paying visa tax) those deported back in to the country while Cruz wants to keep them out - for good.

I think Trump is right - he is flexible. Cruz is not flexible - he is a "madman".

For Democrats? Sure, Cruz is worse than Trump. He's basically just a Hillary Clinton on the right. He'll say or do anything to be elected. That said, there's never been anyone running for president on a major party worse than Trump. Ever.

I personally wouldn't support Cruz if there was any viable alternative, but there's not. Kasich doesn't have the support to pull it off and the best thing you can say about Trump is that he's probably not the next coming of Mussolini or Hitler. Then again, if he were, would anyone be THAT surprised? I wouldn't.

This election cycle is a total disaster, there isn't any good choices, so people are stuck rooting for the best terrible option.

Cruz has no chance to bring in outside support. Trump at least has a puncher's chance.

LOL yet no chance of getting support from conservatives....because he's not a conservative.

He might get some "outside support" from crazy people but the Republican base would never support him which would lead to one of the most landslide victories for Hillary in the history of presidential elections.

Hillary vs. Cruz will be an historic landslide victory.

I'm starting to think that you are actually trying to be as wrong as possible. I feel like you couldn't be THAT far off base if you were really trying to say accurate things.

Look at the numbers, Clinton destroys Trump in the polls, it's a toss up with Cruz. I know you are really holding out hope that Clinton gets indicted and Bernie becomes the nominee and you want someone that he can beat so maybe that's why you keep saying ridiculous things.

If you judge it as ridiculous, I am probably on the right path.

And I haven't ever said I wanted Hillary indicted. I think that whole email thing is a bunch of BS. You're the one fixated on that.

You forget that among the three remaining actively-campaigning candidates for the Republican party, the two non-establishment candidates have 88% of the delegates.

It's the only hope for Bernie, and you've outed yourself as a Bernie kid already. The point is that I'm pretty sure you know Trump is the best hope for Democrats that they win easily. It wouldn't be as easy to beat Cruz or Kasich, so that's why you pretend to be a Trump supporter just like so many others that pretend to be Trump supporters.

This is not how I feel, but it's pointless arguing with you as you like to decide what my opinions are for me.

And using 'kid' or 'kiddo' just makes you look like a child.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here. Honestly none of those remaining are "establishment" candidates. Kasich is a very left leaning Republican, Cruz is a tea party type, and Trump is a potential dictator trying to seize power.

I agree with this. With Clinton, you might get one of the most corrupt presidencies in recent memory, but it will still be business as usual because Hillary is a politician. With Trump, you'll get a clown who might be somewhat ineffective and certainly a laughing stock as a president. With Cruz, you get a crazy guy that might actually burn the White House down. I'm not sure why Cruz supporters have a different idea of who is vs how he portrays himself. He has never tried to deceive his supporters as to who and what he is, and yet Cruz supporters I have talked to in person just have a completely different idea about who they think he is.

Can you please outline this corruption? All I hear about are Goldman Sachs speeches and Wall Street donations (which if you haven't noticed every candidate besides Sanders and possibly Trump have received plenty of Wall Street money)

I feel like 20 years of Republican criticism of Hillary have finally managed to seep into everyone's perception of her whether any of it is true or not.
