dandorotik -- I'm not sure if you have a spoiler in your last post. Can you do the honors if you do; otherwise, I'd like to read it.

    thx

I'm struggling to remember details, to be honest. I said he killed plenty because this exact conversation happened on another message board I frequent, and everyone who responded to the guy who asked if Mike had killed anyone thought they were joking.

I remember he was implied to have killed the Cousins guy in the hospital (with whatever was in the syringe he threw away as it showed him leaving).

He implies that he killed the guy who beat his wife (which is what he claims got him kicked out of the police force). This was part of the whole "Half Measure" episode where it seems to implied that this was the moment Mike decided he was perfectly fine with killing to solve a problem.

And I remember him killing those guys who were trying to hijack the meth Gus was transporting in his chicken trucks. Though honestly that was self defense, but he clearly went along knowing he might have to defend himself.

That's all I can remember now. There might have been more.

Mike also killed a bunch of guys to rescue Chow in that warehouse.

While there is room for individual opinion... Objectively speaking, Breaking Bad is an awesome show. Really high quality writing, directing & cinematography - these things aren't a matter of subjective opinions, they're simply facts.

Found this in one of the videos recommend after watching yours. Turns out Mike's character wasn't planned. They were going to use Saul to be the Cleaner for Jesse when his GF overdosed, but Odenkirk wasn't available to shoot the scene.

    [EDIT]

So, Walt calls Saul. And Saul calls Mike to do a "Cleaner" job for him.

    cool

Actually, I interpreted the scene wrong. It was Saul who called Mike. The wiki page says Mike was a PI and cleaner for Saul. The way they edited the video makes it look like Walt had to find someone other than Saul.

I just mentioned that there was a major character from BB that Gilligan wanted to include in the final episode of S2 but the writers talked him out of it. Since we all figure that Gus, Jesse, Walt, or even Hank might show up at some point, we have no idea who that main character is. All we know is that a major character won't be in this season, and they have no idea what is going to be in Season 3 at this point. So, no spoilers. Also mentioned that I guess- and it's just a pure guess- that the guys from Vamonos Pest Control would show up at some point in BCS, just like Huell and others connected to Saul Goodman.

The way the season is going, looks like they are just making introduction to everyone so everything can go down in season 3. It prob is being a filler season, which is dissapointing. In bb they always had the 5 minute start to finish montage of making meth, they did exact same thing with kim..

I don't think some people truly understand what the word filler means.

It's the story of how Jimmy McGill became Saul Goodman.

Similarly I would say the plot of Breaking Bad was more about the transformation of Walter White, rather than the thing that prompted Walt to take an action which would lead to his transformation.

So why was Jimmy pissed off in the car at the end? The real reason not the "cup didn't fit in the cup holder" reason. Is it because he's trying so hard to live a life he doesn't want to be with someone who may ultimately not want to be with him?

It's just not him. Fancy car, fancy corporate apartment, fancy law office- it's just not for him. For some people, they just have to have that edge or something. But look at how constrained he is at that law office. He's a complete entrepreneur, and those type of people have a difficult time working in that "corporate" environment. Like me- owned my own business for 16 years and always will.

Was pretty disappointed in last week's episode, but I thought tonight's episode was pretty good.

Same. It's picking up a bit. I love the twinz and we're getting closer to Saul.

I figured that the coffee cup represented his relationship with Kim (she gave it to him if I recall correctly), and the cupholder/car (the "company car") represented the life he was trying to fit the two of them into. This is right after he reassures Kim to go after "everything she wanted" and how he already had "everything he wanted". But it was clear that neither of them were happy with where they were. Jimmy busting up the cupholder signifies that things are going to change by his doing [IMO].
