What did the Alexandrians call them? Or was it the Wolves who called them something else. By my count, there are three different names....Walkers, Growlers and ?
Biters (Governor) Glenn originally called them Geeks Alexandrians called them Roamers I believe The hospital people called them Rotters
I'm at the point now where I'm wanting the regulars to die. This show has to end some time. How many more seasons will there be?
Well... Vs comic we're nearing episode 100 (at least rumored to be for last episode of this season), abd Currently the comic is at issue 154... So, while the TV show does deviate some I think it really comes down to how long viewership is strong. But... On the other hand it took 83 episodes to reach 100... So technically with all the filler they do it'd take a few more seasons to reach the current point of the comic (which is still making more issues now). Regardless it'll be interesting to see how long the love of zombies can keep going. I mean, just look at Fear the Walking Dead, which doesn't have a comic (and it gets good viewership). AMC's shows practically print money atm
But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing some regulars get changed out... I'm just wondering at what point does the non-comic/non-invested viewership drop due to them offing their favorite character. I mean no spoilers but some chars have been around a lot longer than expected or taken parts from other characters etc. So it'll be interesting.
This show is unique in that it's an ensemble cast and they can change out the characters, even Rick and Michonne, and it can keep going. So I agree with CCity Zero, what's the point? Maybe it will end when civilization progresses to a point where they are stamping out the zombies. This show is making money hand over fist. They are adding an attraction at Universal Studios. Spinoffs. Companion shows (Talking Dead). Comics, magazines, merchandising, etc, etc. ColdBloods
Walking Dead could seriously never end. No endgame anywhere in the near future if ever. AMC needs the show for the channel.
I'm with you, but not because I want the show to end. It's just not realistic that the storyline/timeline would go THIS long without one of the original characters dying. Tyrese died 21 episodes ago. It's time for someone from the prison to bite the dust.
You mean in real life, if zombies were real. Or in Hollywood life, where actors get movie gigs and quit/die. Maybe this is a sign that none of the OGs are considered good actors, so aren't getting other gigs. Sorta like Friends. Or Lost.
Awesome, you heard coldbloods too! For some reason I was questioning if I heard that... And definitely agree, walking dead is so big right now, I mean I bet even AMC didn't expect this. AMC has really come into its own with the shows its put on their network.
Time for the Walking Dead goes slower than real time. I think it's only been a year or two and it's totally logical that people survive in the apocalypse. This is simply a story about those who survive.
