No. "Worse than Obama" implies that this has been a bad administration without any supporting statements. It's a standard Rove technique of assuming a superior relative position by decree. Relative judgments have to made by comparison, against others, or against accepted standards.

The quoted post associates Mr. Obama with Mr. Trump, associates a 7 year history of actual Executive governance with carnival barking. That is just FAUX echo chamberof baseless claims and it cannot go uncalled.

This election is going to get really ugly, devoid of information and full of bull****, so I'm just getting in that mode.

That's a little harsh. Nice job. You must be a joy to hang out with.

If you think Mr. Obama's administrative resume is in any way comparable to one Mr. Trump might assemble, we won't be hanging out.

Is this the follow up to their resounding and total defeat of ISIS?

Agreed. I have had that conversation multiple times a day for weeks now. It is amazing how many white people think Obama is the worst president of the modern era.

If you think Obama's administrative resume is something to be really proud of, then I agree.

More white people think Bush is the worst president ever. Percentage wise, blacks find Bush the worst president over whites. What does the color of skin have to do with it? Quit trying to make a partisan political issue a race issue.

Wrong forum/thread to do that, plus I'm not interested in having that conversation with someone who opens a dialogue with "goddamnit, you are stupid"...as if my having an opinion has offended you in some way.

Prove you are not just a FAUX echo chamber of mindless party-ism and tell me why you stated the Obama administration is bad. Really it should just take a minute to google/cut and paste.

Or don't and just hold on to your smug.

Anybody can help him here. What has the Obama administration done that would be on par from what you might imagine from a Trump administration...

And I'm sure you have many of your own previous quotes from other threads on standby to cut and paste to argue any of my points. I'm done talking to you...would've been happy to have a debate/convo with you about these topics, but after I stated an opinion, you went all "Donald Trump" on me and responded with insults. How ironic.

It is a race issue. When I ask why he's the worst president ever (keep in mind I'm not a fan of him) they always cite some sort of undefinable issue. "race relations are worse than ever" "he's made black people think they can burn things to the ground" "he makes all these black people think they are entitled" "he has minorities thinking it's payback time" "he has gotten everything he's ever wanted" "he refuses to even talk with republicans, let alone work with them" "he's a Muslim" "he supports Muslims" "he criticizes Christians and defends Muslims" "he hates Israel" "he's the most divisive president!" or something else.

These aren't things I'm guessing, these are things that are said. Detached from reality and driven by obvious racial issues.

Again, you may be totally justified and have my sympathy, but insults won't advance a good cause for the nation, no matter who is slinging them or how righteously, IMHO.

And Space Ghost, did you read the fascinating and well-researched Slate article from a page or so ago? It has a horrible title (Slate is known for this; the authors don't get to pick their titles), but it goes through all the elements that have led to Trump's audience (which is, let's face it, overwhelmingly white). It's not all about race, but it plays a part when people feel enormous economic pressure and hopelessness. (This has lots of historic precedence, of course). Race is an issue in this country, and it always has been, and it will be for at least a good long while. The more we can reasonably discuss it, the better, I imagine.

It's funny to me how many people make statements like this that start with something along the lines of "I'm no fan of Trump..." But then go on to try to justify why they'll be voting for Trump.

Not voting for Trump. If he's the nominee, I'm staying home (first time in my life that I won't vote). But nice generalization, though.

Just a suggestion even if you dont want to vote for Trump, there are other races on the ballot. At the very least go vote and just skip the presidential race line on the ballot.

Great point. I'll certainly consider doing that.

Yeah, not to get on my civic duty soapbox, but MOST of our votes don't matter for POTUS, given the current lay of the land. ALL of our votes matter in local elections. Good to study the local candidates and get involved locally at the grass roots! Go team America.

The media riles us up about the POTUS election, and it's important, but we can have greater impact, as citizens who are not billionaires, at the local level.

Oh my bad, you prefer to just make blanket statements about how a Trump presidency can't be worse than Obama/Clinton even though no one has any idea what a Trump presidency would possibly look like.

    Mitch...man he is harsh. ;)
The principle and not the man.

I feel bad for Garland...he is going to have to stomach a ton of heat for the entire summer and well into the fall. The Senate has seemingly made it clear they wont have a senate hearing...
