That is Morey's hand picked successor.

Give beasley 20-30 minutes. Give Josh smith minutes. Let mini maba get 10 mins. Test the waters with kj

Can the Grizz field a team?

Rockets feel comfortable finally being back home

    March 12: Hornets 125, Rockets 109

The Rockets defense could not contain the Hornets offense in a gut-checking loss. The Rockets sunk back to .500.

The Rockets did something Monday they have rarely done in the past month. They went through a shootaround at Toyota Center.

The Rockets have played 10 of their past 12 games on the road. With the All-Star break in the middle followed by a pair of practices in Tempe, Ariz., the Rockets have not been in Houston as much in the past month as they will be this week.

The three games – starting against the Grizzlies tonight followed by games against the Clippers and Timberwolves – become especially important with road tests in Atlanta (in the second half of a back-to-back) and Oklahoma City to follow. But the homestand also offers a chance for practices that the Rockets have not had in recent weeks bogged down by back-to-backs and travel.

"It's seems like we've been on the road forever," Rockets guard James Harden said. "Just being here in this home atmosphere, coming in and relaxing a little bit means a lot to us.

"We're happy to be home. It seems like a long time since we've been home. We have three games at home. It (the homestand) is important for us. We have 16 more. Each and every game for us counts to put ourselves in a really good position to make the playoffs and help our season.

"For us, we don't have any room for error. We have to make sure we take advantage of it and just compete at a high level."

The Rockets had one full practice and an abbreviated practice in Philadelphia last week, but have generally kept the workouts short to prepare for the rush of games. They went 3-2 on the road trip and are 6-5 since the All Star break.

"It's been 11 days, man," Rockets guard Pat Beverley said of the most recent road trip. "I forgot how my fiancé looked for a while. I was happy to see her, happy to be home, get some good weather. Can't wait to get this win tonight. We showed a lot of growth. We kind of ran out of gas in that last one. As far as getting better as a team, I thought we got better for sure.

"When you're on the road, you're never getting practice. This week is a big week. The next five games are a big five games. We can really leave a mark, get some practice time under our belt and come out a better team."

We are lucky Rio is out. He has some hops and will crush goombas like Harden on the daily.

Well we did lose to the Mavs garbage crew. At home. Never had a lead. Also let Raymond "I have t*tties" Felton go off on us.

Hopefully not a case of "Terrence Jones" Syndrome.
