On a side note, I feel bad for Patrick Beverley. Always thought he was a hard-working guy and played with energy. Houston committed a big contract to him (bigger than what they gave Lin and Asik on a per-year basis), but he's not been productive. Houston fans must be killing him...

 

You're not allowed to compare current underperforming Rockets point guards on big contracts like Ty Lawson and Patrick Beverly to Jeremy Lin. But you are allowed to compare Prigioni and Terry when reminiscing about playoff successes in the yesteryear.

 

Um, lets just break this down.

1.) Feel bad for Pat, but no reason given why.
2a.) On a per year basis, Lin/Asik got ~8m dollar deals in a lower cap world.
2b.) Beverley got 5m dollars in a higher cap world
3.) He has been productive.
4.) Houston fans haven't been killing him.

 

Rockets fans usually criticize rockets players on a rockets board .
That's considered common.
That's what team fans do.

 

Jeremy Lin's years as a rocket were terrible.
Somehow you were brainwashed and thought it was something else.
If you want him back it's obvious that it's not for basketball reasons

 

Ty Lawson's year as a Rocket was terrible.
We went from WCF to probable 1st round fodder to GSW/SA.
I don't see you posting incessantly in the Ty Lawson thread.
You hate Lin and its obvious its not for basketball reasons

 

Ty didn't even last a year.

Lin still a bum.

 

1) I did give a reason why. I said I have always liked him, but his big contract and lack of productivity must be getting him killed by Houston fans.

2) on a per-year basis, Lin/Asik were paid $5M/year during the time they played for Houston. Bev is being paid $6M/year.

3) He has not been as productive as Lin; therfore, he has produced less while being paid more.

4) That's good to hear. I don't participate in other parts of this site, but I would have assumed he was getting killed based on how much people killed Lin about having a big contract but not being more productive. Bev has a bigger contract and less productivity.

 

If you consider Lin's years as a Rocket as terrible, you must really hate Beverley's years as a Rocket. I feel bad for Bev.

 

You are about as bad as it gets regarding race. Like I mentioned I stay out of things when they go here but don't pretend to be an innocent bystander here
