RG3 is 99th on the list and still a no go. LMFAO at the people that said he was better and wanted him over Brock. As bad as I dislike Rick Smith some of you remind me just how much worse it could be.
I didn't see a ton from him this year. He showed up in the playoffs, but overall he was on the field a lot less. Cheap contract / situational type guy would be fine if necessary I suppose. More of a 2nd/3rd TE as a pass-catching guy
to play where? Do we use our remaining cap space to kick a top 5 RT inside for Okung coming off an injury? (Can't imagine he'd come super cheap.) Would make more sense to use the $ to improve TE or safety.. or maybe a slot/return man like Amendola if he ends up getting cut
I'm guilty but didn't think Brock would be available. I thought Brock wanted to stay in Denver with the amazing defense and finally being the man in Denver. Bob McNair and the Texans' brass echoed the same sentiment. I'm still in shock Brock chose to come here and recovering from it. The thing with RG3 is that I thought there was no risk in getting from here and seeing what he has left since he's still very young at 26. I was willing to look at anything other than Hoyer.
We should add Chris Long if the price is right. He would wreck havoc next to JJ. I'm guessing his price is low because he's been injured the past 2 years. Dude has talent and can play in this league. Good twitter follow, too.
someone listed RTs and their ratings for the 2015 season on here in the last month or so. I saw Newton up there in the top 5. I can't find it, and I was surprised myself. So maybe I jumped the gun by assuming it was true..
I think he's considered a top five run blocking right tackle. His pass protection is spotty because he can't handle speed that well and he's constantly dealing with nagging injuries
Sorry if I missed it but I keep seeing that we only need $5-$7 mil for the draft but how much do we actually have now? And if we cut/trade Hoyer.
Oh me too, a dude off the streets would have been a better option than Hoy because of his choke gene regardless of his numbers. Settling for RG is what we've became accustomed to and I guess expected.
