I'm loving these dumb ass libs trying to disrupt Trump. It only hardens the resolve of Trump supporters and makes the left look weak. I've become ashamed of the democratic demographic. I consider myself very liberal but I'm sure as hell not a entitled not think I have the right to tell people how to think and who they shouldn't support. I hope that clown in Dayton got stomped by the secret service. He was not a hero.
Ok more SJW in action. This ones great and it's from tonight hahahahahaha Spoiler <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/biWk2-Awc8A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Northside Storm, thoughts?
Yeah! White Power Man! F the SJW's!!!! Time we wash this country with a bucket of premium white paint
I am not a liberal, nor am I a Trump supporter. But these are my sentiments pretty much exactly. These open, even televised attempts to physically assault Donald Trump and his campaign in an effort to intimidate him and his supporters into conforming speech or silence, just confirm what a bunch of violently intolerant thugs these people are. I want to see Trump lose the Republican primary, but if he were to lose it this way, that would be worse for our country than if he had won. And let's be clear, this is all about the Democrat left's political correctness agenda and Donald Trump's failure to submit and comply. These increasingly violent protests are an effort to impose that submission on him. Apparently this is what it means to be "liberal" to a great many on the Democrat left these days. In the 1960's, being a liberal was all about freedom of speech and individual expression, etc.. Today it is about rigid conformity with a tightly defined speech and code, with the consequences of substantial deviation being in many cases being gang efforts to "shame" you into submission, or even get you fired from your job and to ruin your life. This sort of conduct is almost starting to feel like the beginning of some sort of 'great purge', which to me brings to mind the 'great purge' in the Soviet Union back in the 1930's. In fact, the leftist ideology on free speech has literally done a full 180 over the last 50 years. If you stop and think about it, this is truly astonishing. And a great many people associated with the left have just followed along through this reversal in lockstep, without a second thought on this subject, or I suspect in most cases, without even a first. This is all very sad and very bad, not only for our country, but the world. If free speech is not promoted and defended here, where will it be? The answer is nowhere. And apparently most current day Democrats are perfectly fine with that and are even willing to work proactively, sometimes even violently, to end our right to free speech, religion and assembly here in this country. This is very bad. In fact, this is the number one threat that our country faces right now, even more menacing that terrorism, and it comes from within, which makes it even more insidious. We really need for you folks to snap out of this mindset here. And while I am again no Donald Trump fan, the place to start is to stand aggressively against these political correctness bullies and thugs - not just at Trump rallies, but at college campuses and elsewhere across our country - who are apparently acting on behalf of the political correctness movement championed by the Democrat left.
Protest is one thing, acting like an ass and being combative while trying to actively stop a rally is another. Whatever happened to standing with signs outside a entrance but not blocking it?
in what parallel universe has that been the norm in America? you do know why the 101st had to be deployed to Little Rock, right? Americans have been blocking things they don't like for decades, literally standing right with their noses to the entrance, occupying entire buildings. Some of it has been to stop wars, others have been to stop black students--actively occupying and blocking people is a part of the American protest tradition, for better or for worse. http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2013/01/biggest-college-campus-riots-in-history/ I just want to know where this imagined set of ideal peaceful demonstrations happened. People seem to always fade into an illusion of the past.
to show you how ridiculous you're being and how loosely you understand the First Amendment, the 1960s Free Speech and anti-war protesters were arrested by police for the mere act of political expression, shot and killed at schools by the National Guard. Those, you might notice, are government entities. Yes, showing up to a rally with a sign is also protected free speech, the kind of thing you shouldn't be arrested or shot for, the kind of speech 1960s protestors fought for while occupying buildings, being in prison, and having running battles with the police. Meanwhile, the 2010 anti-political correctness brigade wants to fight the "homofacists" to continue discriminating irrationally (ironically the REAL deviant-shaming to submission that has gone on for centuries). They're holding rallies protected by police and Secret Service and refusing to attend (hey Trump). They can't handle tweets and sign-holding without falling apart and decrying it as the biggest threat to America. honestly, people who think like you demonstrate so much of the snowflake bulls**t they ascribe to others. I don't think you're cut out to make it in this world to drive any impact. Do you need even more police protection deployed to feel safe from the yelling? Maybe you need find a better job and employer if you think a Tweetstorm can get you fired. Btw, Twitter is utter s**t for all people, but on any given day activists who take a strong stance face rape and death threats on the daily--I don't know if that qualifies as "life-ruining". Can you point to specific and credible threats of violence to Donald Trump? The Chicago police sure couldn't. Given that terrorism is almost a null statistical threat to the average American, I guess your larger comparison makes sense. Why is this "the largest" issue for you anyways? Did you have a run-in with somebody you disagreed with?
That would be very distressing if that were actually true. People tend to forget that free speech cuts both ways. Trump and his supporters still have their free speech rights and if anything you saw the state step up to defend their free speech rights. At the same time those who disagree with Trump have their right to protest against him and what he says. Just because you don't like it that people criticize what you say doesn't mean that your free speech is being infringed. Frankly that speaks more to how thin skinned you are that you feel your rights are infringed because some people protest what you say. For those who claim political correctness is run amok consider that the Mizzou professor who called for muscle to get rid of a reporter during a BLM occupation was fired and rightfully so. Just because her POV was on the SJW side didn't protect her when she was threatening physical force to a a member of the press. On the subject of people jobs being at stake over speech consider again that the First Amendment applies to the government. Private employers can still consider how speech by employees affect their business. It strikes me as very odd that a conservative who criticizes regulation of businesses is now challenging private businesses right to make hiring and retention decisions bases on the action of their employees.
want to know something f**ked up, you can still get fired in some states for your political beliefs. It leads to stuff like this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/donna-ballman/can-you-be-fired-for-your_b_9154066.html but the anti-PC snowflakes choose to focus on their ability to tweet without snark--while not saying anything about the employers who are unrestricted to fire employees for political expression.
This is obviously a very touchy subject but I can see why an employer could fire someone for political beliefs. For example if a rap label had an employee who was espousing white supremacist views and donating to white supremacists candidates could see such an employee as hurting their business with their target market. As a private business the business should be able to make a business decision and also has its own First Amendment right to free speech. The fired employee can still speak out and donate to campaigns but working at a rap label isn't a right. In the case you cite that sounds more troubling as sheriff is a government job and in that case I think the First Amendment would apply. I will have to know more about the case to say for certain.
