okc is one of the most snake-bit close game teams i can ever remember. and i only see the occasional national tv game or nbatv "4th quarter flash" games so i don't know what else they've been through. whether it's their lack of execution, bad calls, or the other teams getting steph curry-level hot (including steph curry doing it), they can't win a close game. i remember a couple of months ago thinking they had lost some serious heartbreakers and they've probably added about 4 more since then. a portland game where i think portland made 5 3's in about 3 minutes to close. an indy game where indy made 4 3's in a row in the final 2 or 3 minutes, including myles turner's first 3 of the season and a very difficult monta ellis pull up 3 to take the lead (followed by a missed fairly open layup by westbrook). the golden state epic game where they just have to not throw the ball away with a 2 point lead. the clippers game where, in the final minute, durant goes 1-2 from the line but deandre jordan goes 2-2 from the line (with several other amazing plays by the clips). and now this game where adams gets called for a real weak offensive foul up 2, then towns makes 2 very difficult shots, and then even when they don't get screwed by the goaltending call (they allow the follow up now?), they get beat by, of all things, a ricky rubio 3. i don't know if this makes them less or more scary in the playoffs. playing a team that will crumble is nice. but playing a team you have to rely on to crumble or that you need crazy shots to beat isn't fun. they can get the leads and play with anyone. tough to tell if it's just bad luck or something to do with the thunder. it reminds of the heat's first year together. they couldn't win any close games, especially against boston and chicago, and had tons of great shots made against them. then they basically won every close game they played in the playoffs against boston and chicago.

Probably said in every Dish thread that contains a GSW home game, but... ...the Warriors are insane at home. Just insane.
When a team scores 61 points in a half, that's really good. Blazers did so, and they trail by 20. wtf.
You are gonna get your a$$ handed to you...either you take it bent over...OR you can play just as dirty as their bigs(they set ridiculous screens that NEVER get called)... Option 1 - flop on every one of those screens...If they set their base wide...flop towards the ground. Option 2 - If that doesnt work...play even more dirty...by channeling your inner Bruce Bowen... Klay and Curry dropped 39 in the FIRST HALF...sick.
