If Yao likes him, then I like him.

Yao transferred him to Shanghai Sharks back then but Yao would have preferred someone like KG or Duncan for sure.

    a high IQ guy

I don't know, his body language says otherwise. Look how he leans away from him. ;)

Exactly what I thought. Looks like Beasley tries to get closer to Yao and Yao keeps trying to keep a distance.

One can caption that pic as "The Leaning Towers of Shanghai: Beats the one in Pisa."

Think it was Worrell during the commentary in the 76's game on Root who spoke about Beasley's comments after his first training where he said "I had to run the China out of my legs".
He looked ok when he had the ball, but thought he could've got it a bit more. Here's hoping he can be another valuable piece for us.

I'm sure they're trying to get him used to the speed of the NBA game.

Running the floor with Ish Smith, the fastest player in the NBA, I'm sure helped speed that process along haha

It took Beastley more than 8 years to become a player...

well at least he seems to be turning the corner

and when Goudlock is scoring, we have a scoring trifecta

Harden-Beasley-Goudlock and hopefully with Josh Smith contributing as well

Something must be off in that pic. i've never seen a pic of someone next to Yao and Yao not dwarfing them. Even Shaq

Great game tonight, but I don't want to see him become a mindless chucker, nor do I want to see longs 2's one step inside the 3 point line. 21 footers are not mid range shots. Those actual mid-range shots he got were a thing of beauty though.

I was lukewarm on his signing. Didn't think he would help much, but didn't have a problem with it either. Maybe he's matured, it happens. Could be a steal of a signing, and just what the doctor ordered off the bench.

One game though. Anybody can play well for one game.

Wasn't excited about this move but he has immense offensive skills. If he could have kept his head on straight early on in his career he would be one of the top offensive forwards in the league and a max player by now. Hopefully he is a late bloomer the Rox can benefit from.

Happy for Beasley...and may just get a nice contract this summer. If things go as planned, he will be very much a underrated Morey signing.
