If Dwight took every one of our shots we would shoot 61% as a team! I thought Morey was all about stats??? If so how could he not know this???
It makes no sense for him to take twice as many shots as Beverly. Elite or not, as many call him, when we live and die by the 3.
This isn't a shooting contest. There are defenders out there, you know, who try to defend you and stuff.
It amazes me how many scoff at this. Beverly can miss his next 15 3pt shots and still have more made than Harden over the last 5 games. He is 10 of 25 up to halftime tonight and Harden is 8 for 39.
JB needs to keep Terry's minutes around 5 a game unless he's hot. If his shot is cold, he does nothing efficiently.
He's been the only back up pg...cant play Bev 43 mins and Harden plays a lot as it is...just need Goudelock to get situated
Hopefully Goudelock can give us that flexibility in rotation. I'm anxious to see what he brings, especially if we keep this momentum up to make the playoffs. The fouls Harden draws all year seem to not get called in the playoffs, and if that happens again we can use more guys to rotate in when Harden gets frustrated, tired, or just goes cold from behind the arc.
This is much easily said than done. Also, Dwight taking more shots doesn't mean he'll still keep his effectiveness. Inside players usually have a higher FG percentage than outside players due to them always shooting near the rim. Still, James is just as much as effective than Dwight if not more.
