I believe in isolation. If Russia is no threat to us we should never get involve in their affairs and same with other countries. There is nothing wrong with having relations with other nations if we find common ground.

What did Trump say about Tienanmen square? Why are so obsessed with that, bobby?

Really? You don't even know what Trump said about it? He said that "When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength."

The reason it's a big deal is that he claims Putin is a "strong leader", he claims to be a "strong leader" himself, and he said that the Chinese government "almost blew it" until they decided to murder thousands of their own and that doing so shows "the power of strength".

That's a pretty big deal for someone running to lead the country.

No, the original tweet was propaganda intended to show the massive anti-Trump protest as a gathering of Trump supporters. Sorry Baghdad Bob, that won't work.

Yeah, you should do it. I'm sure it will break out into a hilarious food fight with the secret service. Post on the Hangout before you go.

And the Trump event is canceled due to all of the anti-Trump protesters that Baghdad Bob tried to pass off as Trump supporters earlier.

Here was the quote made in 1990

You're right, he was praising it. It was your history of jumping to conclusions that made me question it. But you should have mentioned it was 25 years ago as well.

It is sad that the leading Presidential candidate of one of the leading two parties had to cancel a political rally in the third largest city in the USA because police said there would be violence ..... Just sad. The protesters didn't win, they look like jackasses.

I commend the protesters for standing up against Illinois Nazis. The more Trump rallies that get shut down, the better.

He literally says, "Strong doesn't mean good". And that he is only stating the facts and not endorsing the behavior.

Sounds like he walked back to me.

It would be nice if you would just post facts backing up your claims and accusations you make instead of attacking people.

He can say "strong doesn't mean good" but when you consider that he uses that EXACT same adjective to describe his own leadership it's pretty obvious that he does think that strong means good. People he's against are always described as "weak" and he's "strong", and Putin is "strong" and Deng Xiaoping was "strong".

It's pretty clear what he actually thinks on the subject. If he could, I bet he'd send in the military to crush the protesters in Chicago right now.
