I don't blame Memphis at all. He was going to be a FA anyways. Maybe he'll be able to work with the Memphis doctors and trainers like how the Lakers worked with Xavier Henry after waiving him due to injury. This is such a fluke injury. He was just walking backwards. There was no contact, no running or turning. This is why I'll never condemn a player for going for that big contract whenever he can. Pro athlete careers are just too unpredictable and too short.
MC gives you leadership and some shooting. Mark my words: The Grizz are going downhill fast with the injuries. We could catch them for the 6th seed if we play our cards right. Our best chance to upset is against the Thunder.
Their the 5th seed brother. And there 6 games up with only 19 to go I think it will be hard for any teams 6-8 to catch Memphis for that 5th seed. But I do think that Houston can catch the 6th seed a win tonight and they would only be a half game back.
Houston just made it official, announcing Terrance Jones (common cold) is at home sick and has been waived to create a roster spot — Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) March 11, 2016
Sign him now to the Beasley contract! If MC doesn't want to do that, forge his signature on the contract and sue his ass until he plays. But no, Morey won't do this. Too busy kicking cans.
Do you even understand that almost all NBA contracts are fully guaranteed? Teams may try some tricks with some training camp contracts with injured players, but for rotation players, the team save NOTHING on his contract.

He was actually good with Memphis. I was surprised they waved him. Who does he play for now? I think I know a team in need of a point.
One who doesn't need the ball? Hmm, Chalmers getting healthy or Marshall? I like MC (not as much as I dislike KM, tho).
He tore his Achilles I wouldn't touch him this year if he proves he is back in a year then a team should consider signing him then.
then split his min with priggs/gordon. sign him to a small 2 year deal, next season he'll be ready for backup minutes. this season just spot minutes but still in the rotation
Understand the logic but disagree to an extent. I reckon we could get him on a two year vet min, one year non guaranteed
Both Chalmers and Norris Cole are free agents. Just my opinion, but I think we were crazy to sign Prigs over either of these 2. Sure both were injured and no idea how much $$ they'd be commanding, but both offer more upside than Prigs for any backup minutes that's planned.
