Scooby Wright is a very similar guy. Arizona just blitzes Wright a bunch more. They are so similar that their combine numbers are practically identical.
I like Scooby a little better, actually. He just has more of an injury history, and I'm honestly not sure at all where he'll go. I've seen anywhere from 2nd to 6th round.
any fast WR's or TE left for the texans to go after in free agency? Maybe trade for a speedy receivers? anyone in mind also need a safety (Weddle)
Great job. We were very aggressive and got exactly what we needed. Every player are day one starters and will be very critical to our success going forward. I expect us to draft a Tackle and TE in the 1st two rounds.
was I dreaming yesterday? did this all happen? we acquired 50% of an offense in Miller and then Brock? the jets should give us a 4th for Brian. I heard they need a qb.
with the remaining space, it's interesting to see Reggie Nelson, Weddle, Thurmond, Rashad Johnson all available. If the market is quiet, I could see them nabbing a safety for a bargain
Agreed. I'd like to see them upgrade the safety position either through free agency or by drafting a playmaker at safety in rounds 1 or 2. Bottom line is we need more playmakers and should draft with that as a goal. Do not draft for need, as rookies very rarely fill needs immediately.
The more I look into it, Kearse would be pretty awesome. I just want one more FO, come on, you can't be done after day one.
http://http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/03/09/nfl-mock-draft-free-agency-rumors-signings This is right before we got Brock.. Interesting on their take on it:
Safety is a position this franchise has ignored pretty much since inception. Glover Quinn is probably the best Safety in franchise history and he was a converted CB.
Now time to wait for the 2nd wave to get a S and hopefully a DE. I'm looking at Tony Jefferson (AZ would have opportunity to match) and Jason Hatcher.

Would love OD and Kearse announcements today, but I know that may be pie in the sky. OD can't cost that much and he would instantly upgrade the passing game and give us a good redzone target.

Benjamin from the Browns was probably the best available WR but he signed with the Chargers yesterday. I could see us drafting one early.
