Fair enough. But as much as that happens, there are times he just makes a comment about a QB or something, some other person that doesnt know his past asks why, and ppl erupt saying "just ignore him" and "he ruins threads" when he had just made a comment. So I can see where he gets defensive and assholish.

But no, I have not followed how bad he gets so maybe you are right.

Side note, dont mean to pick sides.. I'm just anxious for tomorrow to come and to start seeing you guys post tweets of anyone at all that we have signed.. Something needs to happen.

FWIW, I liked whoever said Brock, Benjamin, and Miller. Along with anyone on the O-line. I would at least be happy going into the draft with that.

Agreed. Miller is excellent. Glad to read the Texans are willing to pay up. Benjamin will also be very expensive as he handles returns as well.

I think it's entirely possible that 2 of the first 3 draft picks for the Texans end up being o line.

This would be a correct course of action.

how many boos after we go OL early, put said OL rookie and looks like a rookie? hope people are patient with the draft pick. The line needs continuity to perform.
Here is what this upcoming draft will look like, hopefully.
1st: OL that will turn out to be a stud.
2nd: TE or help for Hal.
3rd: Defensive player that gets too fat, people complain about, out of the league.
    4th: Hackenberg
5th: Tackle that will also turn out to be one of the best in the league, but all people will focus on, is that fat defensive player that ate his teammates donuts.

    6th: white possession receiver.
    7th: DT

Besides linebacker Joe Schobert, who looked very good, it was a rather ho-hum pro-day in Madison.

One interesting note was the fact Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien was in attendance, a story initially reported by Ed Werder of ESPN, and he was in Madison to watch Joel Stave. I reported on Combine Saturday that a lot of teams like Stave's size, arm strength and upside, but understand he needs work on his technique and decision-making. At the Combine, I was told later rounds is a definite for Stave, but some feel he could be off the board early in the third day. Despite the Texans signing of Brock Osweiler today, remember this point; O'Brien was the same coach who made the trip to Pittsburgh pro-day not long ago to watch Tom Savage, a physically gifted signal-caller who needed work on his technique and decision-making.

Wasn't it 3 years in a row the the old team drafted Munchak, Matthews and Steinkuhler?

Stave actually is the kind of guy who O'Brien really seems to love. First and foremost, he looks like an NFL QB when you see him throwing the ball around. His play on the field, not so much.

I'll be surprised if Stave is even drafted. Some scouts say he should change positions.

The Texans need to get fast on defense too. That was the most obvious thing coming out of that dreadful Miami game.

With Ozwieler and Miller on board, I 'd go Safety in the first and OL in the second or vice versa depending on draft grades.

So is this the new way to misspell our QB's last name?:p

First people were saying Shaub, Schwab, or something crazy. Then, autocorrect made it Boyer. Now, it's Ozweiler?

I'm totally just joking around here.

One possibility not mentioned yet is a S/CB/kick returner. Our return game has been ineffective. More speed please. If we go with a speed receiver he better be ready to be the return guy.

We still don't know about Crick, this is a banner year for DT/DE if....

I don't see very many positive reviews for Left Tackles, it seems like after two or three they all say "could be better suited for Right Tackle"

Looks like we need to take a Center pretty high, it's a meh pick but look what Fredrick does for the Cowboys. If you want Ryan Kelly it would have to be in the 2nd.

Sterling Shepard is my #1 target. He's flying up the boards, sort of like Lockett but a little bigger and more physical.
