Unknown wasn't the right word, you're right. But that's still a small sample size. Yes, he went 5-2 with a Super Bowl team...my point is that you're investing 15MM per year for a guy with only 7 starts. Note that I'm not saying he's not a good QB. Just that your banking on on less than 1/2 of one season of game-time experience.
Espn reports Jacksonville sign Vernon to a 4 yr 75.5 mil and now are back pedalling saying no deal yet.
We are the Texans. We are mediocrity. Nobody outside of Houston feels like we've ever been threat. Lol. These are just facts. I want this team to be feared and to be taken seriously. Other fans think we are a joke. Trust me. We are always "a QB away" and you know what... so are the Raiders, Jags, etc... or were... granted Derek Carr looks legit and Bortles looks aight. At least they have a foundation and cap.
This sample size tho is better than any QB coming out of a draft... QB's coming into the NFL aren't guarantees, but at least we've seen Brock on the big stage. This is as close to a sure thing as you can get.
Lol. Jags still probably have 20-30 million in cap space. Insane. Jaguars going all out and their fans are probably either screaming in joy or screaming in agony. Must feel good.

So does Elway know QB talent or not? He decided that Brock needed to be benched for a completely and totally washed up Peyton Manning.....not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Without Brock, they don't get home field. He meant as much to the team last year, as did Peyton. Brock could have done the job in the SB.
Sanu getting $7MM+. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It appears that the Falcons are the favorite to land Mohammed Sanu as their offer is over 7 million per year <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Atlanta?src=hash">#Atlanta</a></p>— Dianna Marie Russini (@diannaESPN) <a href="https://twitter.com/diannaESPN/status/707653969246560256">March 9, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
You say that, but they benched him. At the very least that means that they didn't see much of a difference between a completely and totally washed up Peyton Manning and Brock....so they don't think very highly of him.
No, Elway didn't decide that, Kubiak decided that in game. Elway has told people that Osweiler will be a star.
Ah, so Kubiak didn't think Brock was any good and Elway sat back and let him get benched for Manning.....if he really thought he was a star, wouldn't he have said something?
Being benched for a HOF'mer playing out his last hurrah in an historic match-up against his nemesis is not being benched for a washed up QB.
that was kubiak's gut that did the benching, even after the fans and elway had already forgotten about manning. people not giving kubiak's gut enough credit. need more battlefighting in this thread.
