Did you maybe mean RG3 is cheaper and better? I'll give you cheaper, not better. It's like all the RG3 fans want to pretend life stopped after the 2012 season - are you oblivious to, or just ignoring the scores of stories of how disliked he was in Washington - by two coaching staffs and, apparently, countless teammates.

I'm just gonna say it, if RG3 was a white pocket sloth that played college in Nebraska, there would not be any outcry for him at all.

    We *know* that?...

So you don't think much of John Elway as a personnel evaluator? His opinion has no bearing?

No RG3 is better too. Osweiler needs nothing but strengths all around him... he wouldn't even be alive on the field if he was in RG3 shoes in Washington. Osweiler hasn't even played a full consistent season where he's balled out. Denver going to let Houston be r****ded and overpay this overrated dude.

    Or Arizona State, apparently........

I've suspected there are other factors at play........ I can understand the intrigue, re: RG3 - but I can't wrap my head around the apparent wanton obliviousness to reality.

To argue Brock Osweiler is a career back-up while championing an career back-up who has alienated two coaching staffs and countless teammates... it can't *just* be about football, right?...

Yes we do just like we knew Hoyer was trash. Showed it week 1 versus Chiefs... had to show it again in the playoffs on the same field. I mean it's simple either your trash or your not. RG3 situation is good because it's cheap and low risk in terms of salary... there's the chance he could ball out being in a new atmosphere similiar to Brees with Saints. There's a chance there... Osweiler ain't doing nothing. He will just be here trying to play safe as possible and will just get exposed.

Signing osweiler to a big deal would be like signing case keenum to a long term max contact after his first five games. He looked like the next tony Romo and we all know how that turned out.

Nothing about osweiler says star, he's average at best.

Just sign Griffin, he's a low risk/high reward type player.

None of them are probably the answer.

Osweiler is gonna get paid on 8 games. Matt Flynn ring a bell? He may turn out to be good or he may not.

    Kaepernick has only regressed.

Ragdoll Griffin has been hurt/benched and hasn't played football in over a year.

Alternatives: Brian Hoyer ;) & more unknowns in the draft

In other news, Mark Sanchez is likely available now.

That's it folks. So much for the "Broncos don't want him" narrative.

Why do they want him so much? Can't they see in his eyes that he's not a winner? Why aren't they going after RG III instead?

    Elway must be stupid.

Low risk in terms of cost?

I just need clarification on whether or not the Broncos are a non-risk taking fail franchise. I'm under the impression that only such a franchise would want Osweiler.

5 years from now we will look back at Today and say.... "wow we dodged a bullet" or "we were this close from a Good starting QB"

When you have Rick Smith, everything is a fail. ;)
