Tom Savage should start. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Can't wait to take my beautiful wife on our honeymoon. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Maui?src=hash">#Maui</a> <a href="https://t.co/IoSBjLW0KJ">pic.twitter.com/IoSBjLW0KJ</a></p>— Tom Savage (@TomSavage03) <a href="https://twitter.com/TomSavage03/status/707597413163249664">March 9, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Just to be fair, you can't list all the successes without mentioning that it is still a low percentage. Even lower in the last 10 years.
Good that they are trying. Paying for special traits and potential future performance is better than the alternative.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Rick Smith & Elway have a good relationship. The whole conversation started with someone mentioning that "no QBs that switch teams are any good." Those who named anyone were just countering the initial point. And now you've countered the counterpoint and we've come full circle.
If Rick Smith would tell a competitor that the Texans interest isn't real, then he needs to be fired immediately. It is in the Texans best interest for the Broncos to spend every penny possible on Osweiler, so they have to gut the rest of their club.
Seeing what Ben Jones got from Tennessee, we could've cut Hoyer and used pretty much that money for Jones. Sure it's a slight overpay, but I thought he was getting more than that. I'm guessing they're putting all their chips on Brooks
I'm okay with losing Jones if that means keeping Brooks. Still think Hoyer will eventually get cut but there is no point doing it right now.

Hope we keep Brandon Brooks. I don't think we'll miss Ben Jones at all. Outside of his ridiculous accent, he was nothing special.
