Would Jerry tell anyone anything definitive? No one else matters. This is prime smokescreen season, don't believe anything.

How did the Cowboys do when Romo went down? They sucked. When does Jerry Jones think he will draft at #4 again? Probably never. How does having a Pro Bowl quarterback or struggling for a decade effect the long term value of America's team? I think he goes for his quality back-up/future starter when he has a shot at one. They don't come along often.

    Where was Romo drafted?

Drafting a QB early guarantees nothing, and when you still have a potential window to compete now, wasting a pick for future purposes on a non sure-thing is a gamble.

Osweiler about to get paid from the Texans. They will force the Broncos hand at the very least.

    Calling: 5yrs/86 million.

He quarterbacked the team that won the Super Bowl for half of their regular season games, it's not like he never did anything

Paying him an average nfl starting ab salary isn't unreasonable

He hasn't done anything to warrant a LT commitment. Giving him a 5 year deal with that sample size would be extremely stupid, which would fit the mojo of our front office. You don't see the Redskins giving Captain Kirk a LT deal right now, right? They wanna see more games. He hasn't shown anything to warrant overpaying him to steal him from his current team.

We all know there's no such thing as a long-term contract in the NFL.

The Redskins are also paying Cousins nearly $20 million dollars this year because of their inability to get a deal done.

TJ Yates is very comparable to this dude by those standards... the only difference is he had no Manning to save him.

Just want to clarify that pancakes was on 610 this morning and reiterated that the TEXANS have too many needs to break the bank on a quarterback.

He's an idiot... I know its been said over and over again, but its painfully obvious how much of a lazy reporter he actually is.

His opinions should be kept to himself... if he's getting paid to be a reporter, find actual sources and report what they say.

If they really want Osweilers they could get this deal done with a phone call from fellow ASU alum and Houston resident James Harden

Yeah, I posted it because someone said yesterday that he said that about the Broncos, but it was in fact the Texans.

I just can't believe he would actually make that argument. It's fine to say you don't believe in Brock enough to spend that kind of money on him, but to say they have too many needs to break the bank on a QB? Are you kidding me?
