Michigan has run out of democratic ballots where Sanders has done best in high voter turnouts. Seems fishy
That isn't socialism at all. The actual definition of socialism is the social ownership of the goods and services. That's it. That means a public road used for public use owned by the public is socialism. That means 911 emergency services is socialism. That means k-12 education is socialism. You have taken advantage of socialist programs your entire life you socialist scum.
In a perverse sort of way, it is actually a good thing that plebs are voting against self-interest, because (1) they think they own something of value they need to protect from the less fortunate (or lazy or weak or what-have-you), and (2) more importantly, the American Dream is alive and well. We should ALL be worried when "those people" start clamoring for socialism as well (though unfortunately history has shown that they tend to turn straight to fascism instead if they feel like they are the incumbent, or communism if they feel like they are the insurrection (e.g., that communist scumbag Cliven Bundy)).
down 20+ points in most polls and is going to win with probably a 2-3 point margin. more momentum for bernie or a temporary hiccup for clinton?
Good for Bernie tonight, but damned does the man look worn out. His victory speech tonight looks like a eulogy for a long lost friend. I wish the dude could take a week to recharge, but that's not how the game is played.
What's his stance on Israel. At least Trump said he'll be neutral in regards of Israel and Palestine, that's a plus for all you Israel haters.
You have a couple guys and gals close to 70 year old and I don't know how those guys even manage to go to rallies and speeches and town halls and debates all day every day. And there will be non-stops until the end of next week because the race is tight. I can never pull it off myself.
I forgot which comedian spoofed the 4 year Presidential before/after with Sanders and the Crypt Keeper. These 69+ yr olds aren't spring chicken.
I wouldn't call this a great night for Bernie, I guess its great that he's still in the race but tonight was still a clear net loss because of Mississippi. The polls showed Sander down big in Michigan and he still won, so maybe he has a chance, but he's going to have to pull multiple big upsets AGAIN Tuesday if he wants to stay in the race. All the current polls show him down big in 4 of 5 states for the 15th, and the 5th state is a tie in Missouri, which if the southern trend continues will also likely go to Clinton. I don't follow polls usually has this been the usual for Bernie throughout? Because the current polling makes the 15th look like the day Clinton puts Sanders away.
It is so sad to see little guys like the commodores and cml's clinging to their dreams that they will eventually get trickled down on by the 1%.
Classic, it sums up the 1980's kids who were sold the whole supply side/trickle down/voodoo economics fantasy by Ronald Reagan the charming addled salesperson. Many of these 80's kids are still waiting to be trickled down on. .
I think Bernie has a good chance of hitting atleast 40% if not stealing the two remaining southern states in Florida and NC and then dominate many many states in the Midwest, Northeast and West Coast. Getting the State Senator from Fla's state senator could cause a shift in a lot of voters. Sanders was 5% behind in the final poll released by Michigan State U on Monday, before Sanders got the endorsement from Michigan's state senator.
I honestly am in shock that Bernie pulled off a 22% swing in Michigan in a primary (rather than caucus), especially after that atrocious debate in Flint where Hillary wiped the floor with him.
The guy that is so quick to point out how Christian he is and is always proclaiming his love for Jesus is belittling other people and calling them idiots.
Interesting. I thought Bernie won that debate despite Hillary scoring a few debater like, dishonest points such as her claim that Bernie did not support the auto bailout. It is possible that Michigan as the center of the auto industry followed that issue close enough to spot Hillary's blatant dishonesty. I would be interesting to know how the African American vote broke down in Michigan. Quite a few of them used to work in the unionized factories with the political education that normally instills at good wages and should be aware of how the Clinton's worked tirelessly for NAFTA which was probably the single biggest blow leading to Michigan's economic decline.
Bernie as the polls show is the Democrats best chance against Trump. Both Bernie and Hillary will get the Dems, though only Bernie will increase the turnout. Bernie doubles Hillary in his appeal to independents. Bernie even has the ability to appeal to some poor white voters as he routinely does in Vermont. Despite the cynicism of some many voters will not vote for someone like Hillary they see as sleazy and unethical.
