So, he will take it to the house when he breaks into the open field...instead of inexplicably stopping at the 22 like Alfred Blue did against the chiefs? https://youtu.be/pledagdqgQQ embedding disabled, sorry
They did draft Lamar Miller and then his replacement. I hoped the Texans got Jay Ajayi. He was on the board in the 4th but the Texans traded their fourth to trade up for Strong (or McKinney).
I'd take Miller at 6.5 per year in a heart beat. 24 years old...healthy...and fast as ****. Sign me up.

Not much of a mystery since only 1-2 players per season average that many carries now a days. AP was the only back last season and he was exactly at 20. And no RB averaged more than 20 the season before I believe. Arian averaged the most carries out of any back the past couple 3 years (I didn't count this past season) and he was just around 19. I'd happily take 10-15 carries with 2-3 catches with Miller. Blue is still under contract and can take another RB later in the draft.
Miller will give the Texans big play ability, which they don't really have right now from any player on the roster (and didn't really have last year until Hunt came along).
I wish more teams would have difference pace QBs. Someone with speed and finesse and another that runs through people. Like Foster and Tate, Blount and Lewis, Hill and Bernard, etc.
Thought Polk ran pretty hard last season, much more than any other RB on the roster (not saying much) but Miller, Blue, and a bruiser whether a cheap FA or draft would be a nice backfield. If nothing else, bring Hilliard up and let him run straight up the gut and goal line.

A core of Miller Hopkins and possibly Benjamin and Brock or either just one of them is serious young talent.
A non-tender of Grimes is a very positive sign towards the Miller pursuit. Could see us rolling with Miller, Blue, Hunt into 2016.
