Lamar Miller and Osweiler would be huge coups for team. Especially if we can resign our guards. We might have ourselves stability and a future.
He's averaged about 12 carries per game since he started getting series time the last three years. Also gets about 2 receptions per game. He'll help but I don't know that he's a huge signing. I could be wrong though, since like you I know little about him other than he's fast.
He's faster than Foster but just as shifty. He's more of an edge rusher but he can catch passes too. He is the real deal. Trust me, I won a lot of money in fantasy with him, he's legit. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xZK-t0yqyBg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He's 24, averages 4.6 YPC on his career, and had more rushing TDs than our entire team last season. I'll take it.
Just put on the Lamar Miller game tape against Houston and you'll love the signing! He is "only" 24 years old.
Count me as one of those not giddy about Lamar Miller. The fact that the Dolphins aren't even trying to keep him is a red flag.
Was his game against the Texans as good as Chris Polk's when he was an Eagle? Forget about the other games. That one game vs the Texans though.
Remember Obrien thought Polk ran for nearly twice as much against the Texans as he actually did. I bet he thinks Miller tallied 400 yards of offense alone against the Texans.
Didn't BOB want polk on here because of the toughness he was running in the texans v eagles game? now we're targeting miller because he looked godly against defensive backs, who skipped pre season because they wanted to wear their pads without any underwear. He is still young so there is that. I'd rather draft my own stud rb or udfa like foster. that's how real men do it! end rant.
Did you watch much Miami this year? I watched most of their games and he was pretty damn effective when they actually used him. Their problem is they loved throwing the ball with Tannehill and Lamar didn't get many chances to get a rhythm going. I remember watching them play the Giants on Monday night and in the first half Miller tore the Gmen defense to shreds to like 80 yards on like 10 carries with 2 tds. Then in the second half he got like 2 carries while they Tannehill'ed themselves to another loss. Also he was pretty effective as a receiver so even a couple of the games when he didn't have good rushing numbers he was able to put up solid receiving stats. The fact that a bad organization like Miami doesn't want to keep him I take as a good sign. Now if it was NE or an actual good organization then I would agree with you.
