The only agenda is Harden has an agenda not to play D for long periods of a game

I learned to ignore that last year, my case was that the Rockets won the game and he had a great night and made some key defensive stops as well but they singled out that one play, you can't help but be annoyed by it.

There is no agenda. Find another NBA star that can look as pathetic as Harden does on that clip, you can't.

What keeps Curry from looking bad and what exposes Harden is the help defense and overall positioning of the team in defensive sets. Warriors always seem to stay in their proper defensive sets and don't often get caught out of position, whereas the Rockets have as a team looked bad on defense, which in turn exposes Harden even more for his defensive lapses.

40 pts 14 assists 1 turnover is far more impressive to me than

    51 pts 2 assists 7 turnovers.

He had 4 fouls on that play - I guess he could take a 5th and put the Rockets one whistle away from complete collapse?

His defensive stance on both is just awful. Even if DeRozan had passed it off, Harden would've been late because he's not in a proper defensive stance. He's standing as if it's his first time playing basketball. My guess is he was resting. The second one, he didn't even try to get in front which is just lazy. Try to take the charge, has James ever done it? Nope.

Harden is not an endearing kind of star for other teams' fans and the media. Those of us who live outside of Houston know how other fans despise the Beard. Some superstars attract fans from other teams. Not Harden.

His game is not sexy like Curry's. He is not a physical freak like LeBron or Shaq. His personality is just meh, not squeaky clean golden boy, nor stinking super competitive badass. What do the media talk about him? Oh yeah, his defense.

To be honest, Harden's defense has become a cliche in the media. He earned the reputation and reputation is hard to shed. (See how Kobe was regarded as a "great" defender long after he had stopped playing defense.) I really don't care what the media say or what other teams fans say. If it light a fire in Harden, all the more power to him.

lmao that's literally what Kevin Martin used to do here

just shows you can cherry pick every star no matter what their defense is actually like.

I don't know what one clip of Harden every game is suppose to prove

With our luck refs would call blocking off reputation and James would've fouled out!

Last year the hate got to me because Harden had improved significantly and was showing consistent effort. This year, it's hard to blame them because we have been absolutely horrendous, and Harden's defense has a lot to do with us being in the position we're in.

Is it unfair that they pick 1 play out of an amazing performance? Yes. But Harden's defense is still an issue that needs to be addressed.

Having said that, I agree that Harden is obviously picked on more than other stars. Remember when JASON TERRY crossed Curry and put him on the ground? Not one word was said about that. Can you imagine the media's reaction if an old backup sg put Harden on the floor?

You win nothing because you replied to a troll. He/she will dismiss those clips without hesitation. "Are you saying Harden is on LeBron's level?? Wow you Harden lovers sure are dumb!"
