Started reading at 90... now I'm just wondering how the show is going to do justice to this story arc.
Spoiler Wondering why they didn't choose to just torch the Saviors complex - a bunch of guys running out of a building on fire would probably be an easier target
Were those 2 out front perhaps guarding prisoners? And Rick's crew killed them all? I am probably way off.
Well, sinking that truck o'food into the pond didn't help. Thanks, Jesus! I guess hunter-gatherers just have a tougher time, overall, and this seems easier to them, especially since they were told what the Saviors deal was. It sounded good.
Agreed, but the whole idea of Negan's group finding Rick's group eventually, then attacking them while their defenses are down does make sense.
Seriously. Selling it as "this is how we eat" was a little bizarre. They get 1 month's food in exchange for killing a bunch of people? That's cool with everyone? Such a "jump the shark" moment. I mean the thing with the Saviors is that you know they are bad. Daryl ran into them and they were going to kill one of the three just for talking. Jesus told them that they killed one of their group just to show them how the relationship would go. They kidnapped someone to up the payments and ordered a hit on the community leader. I get why you want to kill Negan's group. I really do. It's clear they are a menace. I don't know if this is how it happened in the comics or not, but it seems like it was awfully easy to convince a bunch of PEOPLE who have never killed PEOPLE that it was time to kill PEOPLE.
