    I dont know this story.

Can you tell me the truth?

If true McNair made a deal with the devil. I guess most billionaires do.

Cogen Technologies was a legitimate and successful business started by McNair in 1982. McNair did sell his business to Enron in 1999, but there's no link between Enron's illegal business activities and McNair. It's really just lazy trolling.

Who gets up at 6am on a Sunday to call people trailer trash on the internet? Honestly.

Under this logic, I assume you would be onboard with giving Hoyer a significant raise to the 18-20M mark since he had a better QB ranking than both Brock and Bradford, and got the Texans further than the Eagles and on par with the Skins.

The bigger issue is whether these contracts affect the ability to improve your team concurrently and in the future. Dont think most people care if 15-20% of your cap is spent on a Brady, Cam, Big Ben, Rodgers, or Brees. But when it's for a guy who has yet to prove himself or has only done so for one season, then I don't think it's delusional for people to be weary.

I see Gucci's point but I also see where the freak is coming from. When you have a qb that you know can carry you through the regular season and make you a contender, you pay him. So I never question kubiak's decision to get rick to extend schaub. Don't let the locals fool you, their own fathers would come on the radio stations saying if schaubie had been healthy we're looking at a SB. But like life, ish happens and it doesn't pan out.

If the broncos think brock is the way, then who am I to question it. but this new money thrown at potential qbs is just as crazy as new money to rookie qbs prior to the rookie contract changes. We've always had big contracts thrown to preseason warriors but these are near franchise qb level contracts.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather have RG3 at 5-8 million for two years than Osweiler at 18 million for 5 years. Obviously, we'd draft a rookie as well.

I just don't see Denver letting Osweiler slip away. After locking Von Miller in, Osweiler is going to be their biggest priority. And with Manning's cap hit coming off the books, they should have enough to room retain those two on hefty contracts.

Maybe the Texans offer more years and more guaranteed money? Idk

You're not crazy. I agree, though I would not be opposed to bringing in Osweiler.

I don't understand what people see in Osweiler. Everyone and their mother could've looked like a starter behind that defense.

Big guy (tallest QB in the league?), mobile, strong arm, quick release and a competitive spirit that didn't look overmatched in the NFL.

Downsides: Hasn't show a skill for reading defenses, locks in on receivers and takes sacks that he shouldn't. His awareness in general seems to be lacking.

I'd gamble on him for a reasonable contract or a 3rd round pick, but I don't like him enough that I want to tie the franchise to him at big money. Seems to me that if they sign him to a big deal there is no chance they draft a QB early enough that you reasonably think the person could take his job.

Hope I'm wrong. I hope they treat it like Seattle treated Flynn. If they sign him, still take your top rated QB when it lines up in the draft and if Oz can't keep the job, so be it.

It's good to have cap flexibility. Gonna be in it for a few good players
