dwight's best days are behind him. i think this is a fact we all can agree upon. i dont care about where he's headed that much. he appears to be a good guy to me. but to blame a loss on a single guy is not fair, just like it's not right to blame all the wrongs on harden. i dont understand why we all can accept the latter but not the former.

Unfortunately, Dwight had D'Antoni, McHale, and Bickerstaff as his coaches, and it looks like Houston will be another failed chapter due to Lil B and the ineptitude of the organization. That is not to excuse Dwight, because he is a little girl sometimes, but coaches and teammates matter on the court.
He went 30-13 the other night and we lost. That Clippers game he went 36-26 and we also lost. There's been quite a handful of games where he played really well and we lost. Same with Harden. EVERYONE STOP b****ING ABOUT ONE SINGLE GAME. Please understand the whole team has been atrocious all year long.
Not saying he is to blame but it's really weird, contract year Dwight, his coaches are fired. Stan Van Gundy - fired Mike Brown - fired Kevin McHale - fired
Yeah, I agree, I thought this year resembles the last year he had with the Lakers, and it is no coincidence to Me that this team is doing poor at the moment. He definitely might play a role in those coaches losing their job, but at the same time, I really never though he has had a great coach. I imagine if Phil Jackson was the coach instead of D'Antoni, things might have been different for him as a player. He needs a coach not only to get through to him on an X's and O's level, but more importantly put his role in perspective for the team.
The only way the rockets should keep Dwight is if he signs a super discount, like 6-10 million a year. Other than that let him walk. Just not enough skill set and to much of a liability.
_______________________ Three simultaneous "Dwight Howard Appreciation" threads in the GARM? ....... ....... .......
A prisoner of the season thread. This year, pretty much all our players look like garbage because .... there is no flow or system we should be making a appreciation thread for this coaching staff cuz they should be gone .
child mentality. dwight has become underrated by his own fans. a huge part of dwight's game is defense and this team is too stupid to play any. and dwight doesnt have an elite post game so he cant magiclly turn it on when they decide to pass the ball to him. he's not free of any blame but he's not the problem with this team. this team as a whole is just wasting good talent. if they keep jb they wont get anywhere. lucky to get past the first round. hopefully morey realized the glaring problems with this team and doesnt overlook them dwight is guaranteed to beast on his next team. just like ty's guaranteed to do much better with his next team. rockets have some terrible fundamental problems. though i do agree he's not a max player but he's def worth 15m per.. maybe even 20 if the new makes is like 27+ per year
This is insane. Dwight must be frustrated as much as the fans are. He had how many shot attempts compared to Jacked up 3's that were missed. The way this organization is ran we do not deserve Dwight, Harden, durant or any free agent. Is Durant going to fix the mess we have? I don't think so. Paul Gasol does look better in a system that has everyone defending and playing as a team doesn't he? They let Thibs go and got a new coach. Many of us have sat and watched this organization just sit there and be concerned about profits over winning. Enough is enough. Our taxes paid for his new stadium. Asians all over and Houston paid for Les's Yao experiment and his failed Lin experiment. Dwight gave up alot of money to play for this team. The championship team was traded for Barkley and then he was forced to sacrafice his check for Quitten so Les didn't have to over pay. We didn't even want to pay for a real coach because we let Mchale go who wasn't winning immediately and still have to pay him. We all knew Mchale wasn't great at X's and O's but he sure as hell was the king of over achieving. These are the results an owner like Les Alexander deserves. If this is Dwight's final season, sorry things couldn't work out. Les knew what he was getting into when he signed you but was too cheap to build a real championship team around you just like he did with Yao, Mcgrady, Dream and Barkley... Hope you find success wherever you go. I wish it could have been here since you honestly seemed genuine about loving the city of Houston and helping the team. We're just concerned about Salary dumping more than winning a ring.
Well...BYE!!! Don't mind him DD, he's the clown who said in another thread that D12 did more than Kobe in his 1 year with the Lakers and I made him look like a fool...which can be found here.
