waste of your time and effort trying to appeal to this troll. He is not a Rockets fan by his own admission. He is a DMO only fan and when DMO is out of the roster so will he follow him to another new team.

Anyway..lately Lowe has mentioned Jones and how he has been a dissapointment. Let's see what he gets paid.

One of Woj's guys said that the likes of fat Sullinger will get 12 per +.
Perhaps Jones will get 6 per due to the cap rise?

    It's crazy, right?

I'd imagine that he/she has an Excel document of posters with their comments about TJ sorted into various categories.

I have no idea why you, or anyone else, made this little list.

Not really. He was exchanged for Chase Budinger, and Jones played well at least for one season (his sophomore season.) I'm sure you'll make the very logical  suggestion that Houston should have drafted Draymond Green with the 18th pick, in which I will rebuttal that the Cavs should have taken Draymond Green with the 4th pick because of 20/20 hindsight.

Truth is there are very few wasted draft picks. Picks are made by potential and if the player has the right body for the NBA. Terrence Jones played 2 seasons at Kentucky and was one of the starters for the 2012 NCAA champions while averaging solid numbers while taking the backseat to Anthony Davis. Sure, he hasn't greatly improved like Morey and his team hoped. He even regressed, but by no means is it a waste of a draft pick.

jones cant even hold his own jockstrap, let alone james harden's
wtf happened to that boy? i miss those days where he makes a simple layup and then flexes and screams at the camera, while his man is wide open for an easy two at the other end.
come back jones, you're in a contract year. get that one year/1.7mil contract!

He had some setbacks, but to be honest his mental response to those setbacks makes me uninterested in his future on this team. **** happens. I like players who use low points to come out and prove a point.

Jones regressed. He used to dunk a lot. Rebound better. He's had a lot of time to learn how to play defense, but I feel like he genuinely has an attention problem. He gets intimidated rather than motivated by more heralded players.

I think he goes to the Pelicans for a small deal this offseason. I wish him luck and hope we're not in a situation where we need to retain him.

This. I feel bad for the dude because of all the injuries he has had but this is a business and he didn't produce in his contract year.

No one is worse than Jones.

Worst Rocket of all time, even Machado is better than him and I hated that guy.

He will have good seasons again, just needs a coach who believes in him and probably someone like Lebron or Kawhi who can tutor him.

Talent is there, PPat with rebounds and blocks but less BBall IQ and inconsistency

Hope he sticks in the NBA

I was listening to Malik Rose on sirius and pop told him to find a spot he could make 7 of 10 shot. Once he found that spot, they would run plays for him at his spot. Thats what great coaching will do. They dont ask players to do something difficult, they put players in position to succeed. Why would you ask Jones or even Do-Nuts to shoots 3s or hang around the arc when thats not where they're really good at?

Before his nerve injury TJ did a lot of things well but not great except for blocking shots(almost elite). Ppat was an allrounder and undersized PF.

He regressed for sure but before his nerve injury he reminded me of that.

Perhaps I am not used to seeing him like that. What he became this season.

If Whiteside can be revived and developed, how can we say Beasley or Jones cannot?

I haven't cheered against a Rockets player since I was a little kid and my home team was playing them in Kemper Arena. Back then, I cheered when Elvin Hayes missed 14 footers. But I was about 9.

    Go away, oakdogg.

To be fair or in your case somehow reasonable, you were cheering against him when he had a great stretch of games.

There was a time when he was averaging close to 13-14 pts and 7-8 boards plus his 1-2 bpg.

He also shot a reasonable 36% from 3 pt land at a time.

He can play on a team that shares the ball, but on a team with a ball dominant player he doesn't fit.
