And they won the only home game among those games you mentioned. They are no where near perfect against the big boys, but actually ahead of schedule all factors considered, and if not because of historic run by the Dubs, will be a title favorite in many other seasons.

The last time they won it all, they were very vulnerable against top teams in the regular season too. When the post season begins, it's a different ball game.

OTOH, they are clearly the 2nd best behind the Dubs, and even factoring their weak schedule, still not enough to offset their comfortable 10-11 games advantage over the likes of Cleveland & OKC, so what's your point actually then ?

Yeah, the Spurs are having one of the great seasons ever too. Regardless of how the season series between the two teams goes, a playoff series between the Warriors and Spurs should be epic.

I don't know other people agenda here, just try to express a fair opinion regarding things in the league.

I mean, just because the Spurs are just 1-3 against other contenders and have a relatively weak SOS currently, their record is fraud or something ?

Um, did you even read my post? I was praising the Spurs and putting them in or near the Warriors' level.

And now our communication is lost on translation. ;)

I am still talking about him, buddy, not you, i understand your notion in your post well enough, but perhaps my reply is not clear enough, my apology. [IMG]

Honestly, regarding the Dubs vs the Spurs match up, it's not the greatness of their starting big three (Curry, Thompson, and Green) that i am worried about, but their bench who were & are killing it this season. If these guys are carrying it to the post season, then a back to back title is basically a lock. :(

The Spurs' bench is fantastic too. I think it'll come down to whether Aldridge can perform like a star against the Warriors and whether Tony Parker can defend anyone on the Warriors well enough to stay on the court.

Duncan is still a defensive stud and Leonard is an all-around stud. Those are the rocks of the starting lineup.
