I hope Trump gets tired of being sabotaged by his own party and just goes third party.

That will force Rubio and Cruz to square off and it will be a **** show for the party

That's what Im seeing too. The only thing is that I'm sure Trump supporters are seeing it as something totally different.

I mean Trump looks weak battling about his changing positions and the Better Business Bureau rating.

I can't believe the Trump University stuff wasn't brought up earlier than the last debate with any frequency. Trump committed fraud.

But with Trump's support I have no idea if anyone else sees things at all the same as I do.

Total hit job by FOX News on Trump tonight. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump ran third party after this joke tonight.

They aren't focusing on policy enough.

Trump wins when it's these little skirmishes. He has been taking them off there game and bringing them to his level.

The only guy not falling for it is Kasich whose having by far the best night.

I don't doubt he'll whine like a b**** about it, but let's face it, if he won the Republican nomination, what do you think would happen to him in a national election? The Clinton campaign isn't planning on wearing kid gloves and Trump has a history of being a con man.....that was going to come out. Also part of what they are "hitting" him on is on his policy specifics that simply don't make any sense.....those would come up too.

At some point, someone was going to point out his flaws.

Part of what they are beating him to death with is the few policies that he's actually talked about in any detail. His math just doesn't add up and when he's called to task about it, he lashes out like an infant.

I'm not a Trump supporter but I see reality. You will only hurt him on policy. Getting in these little childhood battles is playing on his home turf. He wins no matter what, unless you hit policy. Fox did a good job exposing him earlier.

    Issue is, they all do.

That's what I'm getting at. They need to stop putting there foot in the door.

Ignore the attacks and cram policy.

Pointing out his history of being a con man IMO is something that he can be hurt on. At his core, he's not terribly different than Bernie Madoff.....and his supporters should know that.

That's the job of the candidates to point out. Not to have moderators with preprepared graphics for one candidate ready to ambush him in support of an establishment that supports their network. They didn't do any of this for other candidates. This is shameful and ridiculous journalism by FOX News. I suspect the Trump voters will just hunker down after this **** show.

When a candidate does nothing but lie, it's fully fair to have graphics to point out the truth and steer the debate in a more productive direction. Having Trump cite false numbers and having others shout over him that he's lying is counter productive, it's best to just show that he's a liar and see if you can get a true answer out of him. One graphic can stop a 5 minute shout fest.

And if they had a graphic showing that something he was saying was false, I'd be all for that too.

I kind of disagree. Until recently Trump had earned the largest portion of voters and delegates without even having any real policy positions.

When asked why people like Trump, almost none of them say because of policy.

They like him because they say he's strong, or that he tells it like it is, or he won't back down, or that he's an outsider, or that he's good at business so he can run our country and be good at that too. They never say because his revision on tax policy and healthcare are strong and will help our economy.

The only way to hurt Trump with his supporters is to show that the things they believe about him are wrong. The fact that Trump looks strong because he says doesn't settle lawsuits might start to unravel if they show that to be a lie. Because he absolutely does settle lawsuits.

Trumps good business tactics had his businesses filing for bankruptcy, his anti-immigration and illegal stance didn't stop him from using illegal immigrants for his own benefit. Showing that Trump is full of it, doesn't tell it like it is, does settle lawsuits, etc. might change the minds of some of his supporters.

Pointing out that his policies won't work, won't matter.

Another reason I say that is because his supporters come from conservatives, moderates, and those that just want an outsider regardless of where they are on policy.

If it was ever about policy with Trump, he would have never gotten the lead he had. I wish it would be about policy. I think that's why so many people believed that he would eventually implode. Yet he just grew stronger.

You are probably someone who is too reasonable and look at politics from a policy standpoint because that's what makes sense. But Trump supporters don't seem to be doing that.

I think the key to beat him is to make him look completely incompetent on policy.

Rubio's childhood attacks did nothing to help him. Cruz over performed as he stayed out of it and Trump got exposed as a poor policy guy publicly.

Trumps and entertainer and that is what people want apparently.

    Fox's agenda is so blatant.

Go after Trump and Kasich. Allow room for Rubio to attack Trump and give Cruz softball questions to boost himself.
