Do you really think KD wants to go through a whole other season of media speculation of where he's gonna go? I don't think so. He's stated that his tired of answering(or rather not answering the big question) he's gonna get this free agency thing out of the way this summer.

Or he will do something like LeBron did last year. Sign two years deal, 2nd year player option. If Westbrook leave, he'll leave too.

As opposed to going after him soft? Every team will go after Durant hard.

Yes, but we've altered our strategy this season, and last offseason, to be in a position to offer him max $$.

I think that means you are going after him hard.

Morey needs to spend the next few months working out. Healthy heart will help him go hard. Can't have Morey pushing rope.

They seemed pretty close. At least during Durant's rookie season.

A lot of people thought LaMarcus Aldridge would do a 1+1 with Portland. He left money on the table (but got security) and wanted a change of scenery.

Truth is no one has a clue what Durant is going to do in the end but Durant.

Durant doesn't even know what he's going to do. Probably has an idea...but he's obviously open to be persuaded this way or that...

I love the people who complain that Harden can't be an "alpha" but also **** on trying to sign good players in free agency. Do people ever stop ****ing b****ing?

Yeah, I also don't think he'll do a 1+1 because of injury history... That foot injury could have been a lot worse. So wherever he signs it'll probably be a long-term deal.

Word is Durant has a really tight circle, so yeah, who knows exactly his motivations.....

But WOJ had some opinions, and he is pretty plugged in.

I am guessing that Durant will sign the three+one contract with GS, get his ring first, then figure it out later for another big contact. That is similar to what LeBron did in Heats first. OKC does not look good right now, so he would not waste one more year for getting nothing.

The twolves, bucks, Suns and and bunch of other teams are not even contemplating the idea of durant on their team. They will not reach out to his agent, they have not put together any data reports on projected salarycap/lineups with him. Nothing.
