At least they should retain the O-line free agents... I always felt releasing Briesel/Winston really impacted the Kubiak era more-so than being credit for.
Brooks is really going to get paid. Is there any point where the market becomes too rich? Because he is in prime position to possibly be the guy that someone throws too much money at.
I don't think he can be replaced, so you pay him pretty much anything it takes unless he's wanting to be the highest paid O lineman or whatever.
I think that the Texans wait until after the draft, before setting Hoyer free. My best guess is that Savage will be QB1 next year and whoever they draft will be QB3. Hoyer costs too much to be a QB2 and I don't see the Texans keeping him unless they completely whiff drafting a QB. Yates or Weeden could the veteran QB2 next year in the above scenario.
Im still pissed OB didn't give Weeden a shot in the second half of the Chiefs game. Who knows how the game turns out.

I dunno, I think the Texans likely score if they went with Weeden instead of Hoyer. They almost certainly still lose, but they'd have had some kind of chance with Weeden and they had no chance with Hoyer.

If you take the fluke return td off its a 6-0 game at half. Defense played well enough to win but hoyer was beyond pathetic
