Jokes aside, i think this moves are probably just in preparation for this summer...i mean, as today it's pretty clear that Jones is gone, either we're able to trade him during the draft or not, he's gone, Brewer probably too...so i think Morey is just trying to give a chance at this two talented guys, if they bring something better than Jones and Thornton (which isn't that hard), they'll be here for the minimum next season, if not, bye...to me it's not a bad move at this point... However some friends (from EU) told me that Goudelock played well in Europe this last years, he's a talented combo guard, a bit undisciplined but he did better in this aspect with coach Obradovic...the problem is that yeah, we don't have Obradovic :s
At this point, why not try it? He can score at this level and we hadn't had a consistent scoring PF for some years now. If it doesn't work let him walk in a few weeks when we miss the playoffs and find a real PF this summer. Maybe he will spark us like J Smoove did last year. I like the PG pick up also.
