What is "weird" is that he felt it necessary to describe his wife as being "a relatively dark Latino" as being a reason that she would be afraid to travel to Israel.

 

Respectfully, Sanders is a far bigger underdog than the field against Trump at this point.

The original Black Panthers were not a black Supremacist group.

I don't know what you were trying to show was easy to do because you haven't done it. So it can't be that easy.

 

It doesn't matter whether they were a Supremacist group or not..... the idea that President Obama would have anything in common with their movement other than skin color is absurd....... President Obama would not be very popular with The Black Panthers, he is a moderate.

 

I guess we'll just disagree. Sanders is closer in delegates, with many states favorable to him coming up including large ones like California and Colorado.

Also there is no competition against Clinton other than Sanders to siphon off delegates.

 

That was a thread about persecution of blacks in Israel, so it made total sense to note the pigmentation of his wife. He should have known better than to put personal details on here, but others members should be respectful enough to not drag those up to make a point. I'm with Deck.

Here, you're right. Super Tuesday was a death knell for Sanders. Besides the fact he lost ground, it showed some very big demographic weaknesses in his campaign. He has no shot.

Eh, I don't really get it. One, I think you overestimate the gravity of the election. Sure, whether it is Clinton or Trump will make some difference, but so much of the nation's future is totally out of their hands. We have 300 million difference-makers of varying gravity, and growing. Two, your vote counts an infinitesimal amount. And your vote for president counts for less than anything else you can vote for. You can look in the mirror and tell yourself you tried, but how much did you do, really?

That said, I always vote. But, I don't fool myself about it.

 

Kansas and Nebraska are expected to be Sanders wins, if he gets Michigan I think a Midwest sweep is very probable

 

Here's the thing about Bernie's campaign.

The longer he stays in the race, the better off he is.

The more people learn about him, the more people like him.

Essentially Hillary is trying to run out the clock.

The wind is at Bernie's back now, and every day he's going to gain ground.

Question is... is there enough time left for Bernie to overtake Hillary.

 

No way in hell she picks Bernie. She needs to pick someone that will drive tons of voters, probably a Latino with an impeccable record.

 

I'm an American living in the United States. Funny you post this but can't addresss anything substantive on Sanders. Sanders wins on substance, loses on ignorant rhetoric.

Looks like plenty of GOP have no problem with Cruz or Trump. Hillary is better than both of them.

Kansas and Nebraska have 58 delegates between them. Louisiana and mississippi have 87 and similar demographics to alabama, georgia and south carolina. So, best case -- a wash?

Hillary's currently polling at about 60% in Michigan, Florida and Illinois, which have 130, 214 and 156 delegates. Even a relatively big push by Bernie in the next couple of weeks doesn't really close the delegate gap. He needs to be gaining delegates.

I just don't think his numbers are there.

 

It is easy. All I have to do is imagine the Supreme Court justices that would be appointed by either Mr. Trump or Mr. Cruz.

 

Bernie supporters love accuse of media of conspiracy even though they scream in their own echo chamber of complete nonsense that are contrary to the numbers.
