I would hope that Bernie winning states will force Clinton to adopt Bernie's initiatives. She will need the enthusiasm of those Bernie voters to win the general.
The GOP establishment choice, Rubio, is in deep trouble. He finished 3rd in a number of states on Super Tuesday and now has about half the number of delegates to 2nd place Cruz. If Rubio cannot win his home state of Florida on March 15, he is more done than our Houston Rockets chance to reach the finals this year. Let's see if he can regain his footing by talking the real issues facing this nation rather than another man's penis.
Moderators stay home??? Principled Conservatives will stay home. If Trump wins the nomination Hillary is guaranteed a victory. You just know the liberal media is sitting on hundreds if not thousands of idiotic things Trump has said in his life of flip flopping all over the place. All of them will be played ad nauseam. Dems should pray for a Trump victory because the only way he wins the general election is if Democrats break rank and vote for him. He is pretty much stuck in the 30% - 40% meaning a majority of Republicanss do not support him but their vote is split between Cruz and Rubio.
Cruz's chances to be the GOP nominee would look much better if his vews were more mainstream. I doubt it very much he will do well in the big coastal markets. Still, credit to Cruz's organization. -- he got a whole lot of votes in Texas.
This country is full of bat guano I guess. Because Ted Cruz has less broad appeal than Clinton does being likable. Another election down the hatch of this country. With the USA moving slowly away from impeding gay rights, letting people smoke the ganja if they like, etc etc etc. and all the other dumb a** social policies that conservatives have. And if every election the republicans want to send people like Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee, and Ted Cruz out there be my guest. Because they won't be winning much.
if sub-compensated illegal immigrants are a slave class, does that make every wage worker a subcomponent of Uncle Tom?
LOL. "Don't worry guys, I'm not suspending my campaign... I just won't be asking anyone to vote for me anymore."
He is just in it for his 15 min of fame and sell more of his books, I wonder why anyone would vote for him now.
It does look like he'll lose Florida to Trump. But, I don't think him dropping out will mean Cruz can take Florida instead -- it'll still go to Trump. I might be crazy. But, seriously the whole field, left and right, is a political dumpster fire. The leading candidates are terrible and the least-bad options have no traction. I yearn for the days of Romney, McCain, and John Kerry.
The common refrain from both parties is that those candidates were weak as well. Trump is definitely worse than those guys, but I see no reason to say that Clinton is somehow worse of a candidate for her party than Kerry was or Romney was for his.
I'm not sure about that really. If Rubio dropped out and endorsed Cruz, something that won't happen, I could see it springing Cruz ahead of Trump. Hell, if Rubio pledged his delegates to Cruz, then Cruz would be leading right now.
