538 did something I thought was pretty cool. Recognizing that the 3 main guys have different states they're strong in, they mapped a delegate count roadmap for each and compared their performance so far to the roadmap. In this analysis, Trump is still outperforming, but not by as much as the simple optics of states won or raw delegate count would suggest. http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/election-2016/delegate-targets/ He said he wouldn't go to the next debate and that he sees no way to win, but he didn't drop out.

It may be the best video anyone has ever posted. Just the part with him grunting and waving the flag is good enough on its own to win top prize.
Hilarious video, except for showcasing the odd mannerisms that poor Cruz can't get rid of. That absolutely CREEPY laugh-thing Cruz does after he says something is characteristic of a sociopath. I shudder when I hear/see it. There is something a bit "off" with his interaction with others, as well as his body language. I have watched a few segments where people have discussed his mannerisms and how he may be the more disingenuous of all the republican candidates. Although Trump represents the most sinister ideas of any candidate from both sides of the aisle, Cruz gives off this uneasy vibe that is downright scary. My gut tells me that Cruz suffers from Asperger's Syndrome, but he would never admit it publicly. If that's the case, speaking in front of large groups must be difficult for him. He covers it well, with the exception of the creepy-laugh-lip spasm thing. What did Trump call him? Something like "crazy", but in his own choice of unique words. Either way,If Cruz wins, I'd learn to accept the defeat over time. A Trump victory would be the most saddening, idiotic event in recent history.
LOL. I think he called him a basket case. Cruz does give off a scary vibe. Like a hide your kids and slowly back away type vibe.
Cruz is much worse. He truly believes the stuff he spews is righteous and holy anointed truths. He has already shown he is willing to shut down the government regardless of the consequences.
I already know that he won't be President. Although he won Texas, so does that mean I will have to deal with this douche being Senator for the next 20 years??
Well at some point the good people of Texas will realize Cruz hasn't done jack for their state and continues to use the seat to advance his own ambitions. Plus, the GOP and RNC would love to sabotage him in the next cycle and primary his ass. If I remember correctly he won like 600K votes in the 2012 runoff primary to become the defacto Republican senator in a state with 27 million people.
Well he'd have a decent chance at winning a national election, not as good as Rubio, but certainly a LOT better chance than Trump. If he could talk Rubio into dropping out and endorsing him, the Rubio delegates would make Cruz the front runner and he'd easily beat out Trump in a one on one race.
It doesn't work that way. If Rubio drops out and endorses trump he doesn't get to assign his delegates to Cruz.
Not officially, but he could instruct them to vote for whoever he wishes at the convention and they would. Trump has no chance at a brokered convention.
It doesn't work that way either. He can't release his delegates. What would happen under current rules is that if nobody had a majority they would cast a round of ballots where every vote went to the candidate that won them (even if they suspended their campaign.) When nobody got the nomination via simple majority they would go to a second round of voting. The problem with that second round voting being part of a deal between Cruz and Rubio is that at that point EVERY delegate is free to vote as they please. The delegates to the convention would not ultimately get behind Cruz and they'd have no incentive to. Now it would be deal time and the Trump leverage would be gone. This is how the establishment would get to offer a compromise candidate. Now, the RNC has the ability to change the rules just before the convention in terms of the proceedings on the votes, so they could do almost anything they want. With that said, there is no way Cruz or Trump walk out of a brokered convention. No way.
Caitlyn Jenner wants to be the “trans ambassador” to her favorite presidential candidate: Ted Cruz. http://www.ijreview.com/2016/03/551...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer Spoiler
The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Actually it DOES work that way in practice. Anyone who is picked as a delegate is a really loyal person to that campaign, they'll vote any way their candidate wants them to. That said, it wouldn't matter, if Rubio or Cruz end their campaign and endorse the other whoever that was would wipe the floor with Trump and they'd likely win enough delegates to win outright.
